The Mayan Princess Resort offers divers and non-divers endless opportunities for unforgettable
adventures. You can enjoy diving, snorkeling, kayaking, golfing, land tours, kicking back on the
beach or relaxing poolside soaking up some sun. Divers will be treated to the biodiverse Mesoamerican Reef. This reef is home to a large number of marine species, hard corals, tropical fish
and the rare endangered and protected animals such Sea Turtles and Manatees.
Those who would rather spend more time above the water can golf a round on the Black Pearl
Golf course. This course starts at oceans edge and winds up and around to the rolling foothills.
If you want to be more adventurous you can play with the monkeys and parrots in the Gumbalimba Park or take to the air and Parasail high above the Bay of Honduras. If your looking for
some of culture and shopping, the Discover Roatan Tour will take you through the lush jungle
to the other side of the island where you will jump aboard a water taxi through the Jonesville
Mangrove tunnel then make a stop at the “Hole in the Wall” for a bit to eat. If you desire you
can jump in and snorkel after lunch. The final stop of the tour will take you to the West End for
some souvenir shopping!
