the engagement session is Joanne’s gift to you!
Joanne believes that the engagement session will help you
feel more comfortable being photographed on your wedding
day. It’s a great way for Joanne to get to know you, and for
you to see how Joanne guides her couples throughout the
session.
The engagement session is all about the two of you and the
special relationship you share. You and Joanne will plan to
photograph at locations that are meaningful to you both, or
you can rely on Joanne’s artistic expertise to choose a setting that complements your personalities. Consider this
time together to be like a fun date where you allow Joanne
to tag along to capture the special and moments between
you!

You’ll be more comfortable being photographed on your
wedding day, you’ll receive posing tips from Joanne to help
you look your best anytime you are photographed, you’ll
have access to great images to use for your guestbook,
wedding decorations, gifts for special people and engagement announcements or save the date cards!
And, as another gift from Joanne...
...your favorite image will be enhanced and given to you as
a high-resolution digital file to print and use as you’d like!

Just who am I anyway?
My love for photography began when I was a child watching events unfold
and my father document them with his Brownie Camera - it was clear; photography was pure magic for me then, as it is now!
I’ve been photographing consistently since I was 18, and
after achieving the pinnacle in my then 17-year social
work career, I returned to school to obtain a degree in
commercial photography and began photographing weddings while I was in my second year of Art School!
I interned with some of the top photographers in Pittsburgh, graduated with honors from AI International an
opened Joanne Bartone Photography. It has been a joy
Photographing ever since.
My love for people, calm, easy-going nature, creative + technical expertise,
strong work ethics and my fabulous clients have made my business successful and turned me into one of the most sought-after wedding photographers in Pittsburgh. I am so fortunate!
My creative approach focuses on documenting and telling your unique wedding story through my award-winning photography and through my signature wedding story designs. As I am photographing, I’m planning for your
wedding story book...I’ll skillfully capture the details, tears of joy and loving
moments; I want you to live your moments and allow me to capture and create from them! I am acutely aware that after your last dance, your wedding
photographs are one of the most important mementos from your entire day
that you will be able to enjoy throughout your life together!

Terms and Agreements
Consultations are available by appointment only.
Separate from and not counting towards your services and
products, the Date Reservation Retainer (DRR) is meant solely
to reserve Joanne’s services and the wedding date.
This DRR will be deducted from the total cost of the service you
purchase, is refundable after seven days of being remitted, but
becomes non-refundable after seven days as other opportunities have been foregone.
Joanne limits her availability in order to provide her clients with
the specialized attention, services and products they deserve.
A Preliminary then Final Wedding Agreement is required to insure both client and photographer agree to terms as outlined.
Acceptance of the Preliminary Agreement binds all parties to
the terms and conditions as defined here.
Services and goods must be paid for in full prior to any wedding
day services being provided. An engagement experience is a
gift to clients from Joanne so is exempt from this term.
Services and product refunds are not offered after clients agree
to the Preliminary Agreement, or after photographic services
have been provided. A Cancellation Policy is outlined in the
Final Agreement to protect all parties.

DRR reserves your date
1/2 balance due six months prior to the date
Remaining balance due one month prior to the date
Products arrive after clients make selections based on their
responsibility as outlined in the Final Wedding Agreement.
