VANCOUVER CELEBRATES www.bastilledayfestival.ca PROJECT The French Consulate, French elected representatives, Alliance Française, and other partners have decided to join forces to organize the Bastille Day Festival in order to: - Allow all Vancouverites’ the opportunity to experience French culture and traditions - Bring a French “art de vivre” into the core of the city - Celebrate the French National Day as if you were in Paris OUR TEAM Around 70 enthusiastic and committed volunteers involved in different committees (communication & marketing, finance, organization...) whom will aslo be present on the day of the event. DATE TUESDAY JULY 14th 2015 FROM 4:00PM TO 1:00am VENUE THEY TRUSTED US Granville Island - One of Vancouver's best venues - guests will have the opportunity to join a traditional French “Bal des Pompiers / Firemen’s Ball” as a “Grand Finale” of this celebration day. During the afternoon of the event, guests will enjoy a few exhibits, games and activities, as well as tasting a bit of the well renowned French Cuisine.
