Lindisfarne Story
Lindisfarne was Tyneside's
best-loved band for over thirty
years and The Lindisfarne Story is
a celebration of the group's music
and achievements. The show is
devised, written and performed by
drummer/founder member Ray
Laidlaw, and Billy Mitchell, front
man for the final eight years of the
group.
Ray and Billy perform acoustic
versions of Lindisfarne's classic
songs and tell the inside story of
the group's rise to fame, from Whitley Bay to San Francisco Bay,
from Rothbury to Glastonbury. They describe the group's early days
on Tyneside in the 1960's hustling for gigs and their rise to fame in
the early seventies.
The show is illustrated with archive photographs and video and
describes their worldwide tours, festival successes and TV
appearances, their triumphant return home and their unique
relationship with Newcastle City Hall, venue for over 130 Lindisfarne
performances. Lady Eleanor, Meet Me On The Corner, Fog on the
Tyne, Run for Home, all of these songs have a story behind them.
Enjoy hearing them again in an intimate venue and discover what
was the inspiration behind their composition.

The Blues Band
2015 sees The Blues Band Celebrate their 35th year together Paul
Jones, Dave Kelly, Tom McGuinness, Rob Townsend and Gary
Fletcher.
Many of the Blues Band’s 21st century fans weren’t even born when
these five virtuosos, already music industry veterans, decided to fly
in the face of musical fashion in 1979 and form a band ‘just to play
the blues’. No one could have predicted that, 35 years on, they’d
still be dazzling audiences with their showmanship and virtuosity.
About 20 albums and thousands of gigs later, they’ve earned a
reputation around the world as one of the finest exponents of the
blues tradition in all its forms. With this line-up, it’s hardly surprising.

Isles' most respected and enjoyed
performers, releasing a number of
hit singles, presenting a handful of
television specials, and delighting
audiences for more than 30 years.
He went on to release hit single
after hit single. The first -- with
Noel Carty Productions -- "Treat
My Daughter Kindly," was

Roy Chubby Brown
Roy Chubby Brown returns with his
meatiest show yet!
He’s still rude, he’s still crude and
this time he’s turning headlines
into punch lines as his rip-roaring
brand of banter continues to burst
bellies across the country. Chubby
doesn’t hold back from sharing his
outlandish views on news, women
and gender, sailing so close to the
mark, even the most seasoned of
fans will be left gob-smacked!
As politically incorrect as ever ‘The
World’s Most Outrageous
Comedian’ is far too rude for TV, so
this live performance is the only
place to catch the flamboyant comedian!
If easily offended please stay away!

The Dublin
Legends
Featuring Sean Cannon, Eamonn
Campbell, Gerry O’Connor & Paul
Watchorn. Formerly of The
Dubliners.
In 2012 the Legendary Irish Folk
group THE DUBLINERS celebrated
50 glorious years in the music
business by receiving a Lifetime
Achievement Award at the BBC
Radio 2 Folk Awards and rapidly
followed it up with a sell-out UK
concert tour, the highlight of which
was a magical night at The Royal Albert Hall in London.
Sadly, however, they subsequently suffered a body blow with the
sudden tragic death of founding member “Banjo” Barney McKenna.
Quite naturally this meant that the remaining members chose to sit
down and decide upon the band’s future. John Sheahan, after 48
years of touring, decided it was time to step off the tour bus and it
was agreed that The Dubliners, as a touring band, would come to an
end. THE DUBLIN LEGENDS were born.

Cinema & Film Club
Due to popular public demand, the Princess Theatre,
Hunstanton is very pleased to be introducing a brand
new venture. We very warmly welcome you to our
‘Cinema and Film Club’.
In order for this to be successful, we encourage
strong, local support which we are confident we will
receive, as we already have had many enquiries to join
the film club. Our current status will enable us to show
films that are only a few months old after their release
dates, in state of the art digital sound and projection,
perfect for this intimate theatre. We will be offering a
great selection of films at varied times in order to suit
all age groups and requirements.
Please contact us for more information.

Rick Wakeman
A Fellow of the Royal College of Music, Professor of the London
College of Music, former Yes keyboard player, Watchdog presenter
and renowned Grumpy Old Man, Rick Wakeman has led a rich and
varied life. In his one-man solo show, he recounts hilarious and
unlikely anecdotes from a career which has included musical
collaborations with David Bowie, Cat Stevens and Elton John, as
well as worldwide tours with his own bands, punctuated by displays
of dazzling virtuosity on the piano.
This show was a sell-out success at the Edinburgh Fringe, where it
won rave reviews and quickly became a ‘must-see’ of the festival.
Come along and find out why life if rarely dull for Rick or those
around him!
