Can you believe Amanda Jayne has been trading
for 12 months and we are about to celebrate our
1st birthday? Who would’ve thought when we
launched the 1st collection at The Studio on
March 14th 2013, that we would also be opening
our 1st boutique in Abergavenny by the end of the
year? What a lovely year it has been and I am very
grateful for all of your support, encouragement and
for buying beautiful Italian shoes.
November marked the opening event and saw a flurry of activity with The Tara, The
Chianti and The Marie proving to be the best sellers.
December meant lots of excitement leading up to Christmas and saw ladies wanting
“something to dazzle” and this time it was The Rufina that hit the headlines! The
Padrona from the Luciano Padovan collection also walked out in style – strutting her
stuff as my personal favourite.
January and February have been quieter and all the rain had me thinking maybe I had
better source some Italian wellingtons and umbrellas …. watch this space.
March sees the sun beginning to shine and the summer collections are arriving fast. All
should be available by the end of March, but don’t wait until then as I already have 15
new styles to showcase. Here’s a cheeky little peek:
We’ve just returned from Milan, placing orders for next Autumn/Winter – and I must
say you will not be disappointed. One of our new manufacturers, Lorena Paggi has
some gorgeous boots and, of course, I just had to get them!
It has been a pleasure to have hosted several private appointments, meeting lovely
ladies over a glass or two of Prosecco, whilst spending their Amanda Jayne vouchers. I
have also met ladies from Singapore, Australia, South America and good old Balham,
South London! All left The Boutique with beautiful Italian shoes.
Please do keep an eye on Facebook as we will shortly be launching several
competitions where you may win an “Afternoon Tea” at The Angel or indeed a
voucher towards a pair of those beautiful Italian shoes. A reminder too that if you
have purchased a pair of Amanda Jayne shoes and would be happy to do so, please
forward a picture of you wearing them – again, you may be lucky and win a little treat!

14th or Saturday 15th March and share in the celebrations
for our 1st Birthday.
