Freeman and outfielder Jeff Francoeur
and the Aflac Cancer and Blood
Disorders Center of Children’s
Healthcare of Atlanta are teaming up
for the Freddie, Frenchy and Friends
Lunch. This exclusive event will raise
funds for the Aflac Cancer Center.
Freddie and Jeff will invite a teammate
to join them as their guest at the lunch.
Attendees have the opportunity to
meet Freddie, Jeff and their teammate and have a professional
photo taken with them. For every two seats sponsored, donors
will receive one baseball signed by Freddie and Jeff. During the lunch, a
Q&A with the players will be emceed by a Braves radio personality.
THE PITCH
Proceeds from the Freddie, Frenchy and Friends Lunch charity
event benefit the Aflac Cancer Center, a national leader among
childhood cancer, hematology, and blood and marrow transplant
programs, serving infants to young adults. Recognized as one of
the top childhood cancer centers in the country by U.S. News &
World Report, the Aflac Cancer Center treats more than 400 new
cancer patients each year and follows more than 2,500 patients
with sickle cell disease, hemophilia and other blood disorders.
