Canopies, chairs with covers, and umbrellas are not permitted in the audience area.
These block the view of those sitting behind you. There are shade trees at the back
of the audience. Chairs will not be allowed to be placed in advance. They will only be
allowed to be placed the day of the show. Safety is our number one concern. After 6pm,
please be prepared to move your chairs away from the front of the main stage area if
requested to do so. This will allow room for dancers and ensure all guests, staff, and
entertainers have an enjoyable experience at Huck Finn Jubilee Bluegrass Music Festival.
Guests can enter and re-enter – all persons must have the proper event wristband. If
you lose or remove your wristband, you will be required to purchase a new one.
Intoxicated persons will not be re-admitted.
Drink responsibly and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated!
Forget your sunscreen? The General Store has lots of goodies for sale.
Please observe all posted regulations in regard to fishing, swimming, water-slides and
paddle boat use. NO swimming in the lakes, these are for paddle boats and fishing
only. Violators may be ejected from the event. Swimming will only be permitted in the
swim area during posted hours (11AM-7PM), otherwise, the gates will be locked. Swim
area will have a lifeguard on-site during swim hours. Swimming when no lifeguards are
present is prohibited. An adult must accompany children entering the water.
A variety of independent vendors will be selling food and crafts for the duration of the
event. Look for the Official Huck Finn Jubilee vendor credentials on lanyards.
Ice and bottled water will be available for purchase.
There is an ATM on-site
There are trash receptacles throughout the festival, please dispose of your own trash.

CODE OF CONDUCT
All guests attending the Huck Finn Jubilee are expected to comply with the following Code of
Conduct. We are committed to provide a safe, comfortable and family atmosphere at the Jubilee.
Our team will proactively intervene to support an environment where ALL GUESTS SHALL:
•
Be respectful to all other guests, fans, participants, event officials.
•
Not willfully and/or maliciously disturb or interfere with a guest(s)/employee(s) enjoyment of
the event.
•
Wristbands must be worn at all times, no exceptions! Show their ticket/wristband/badge or
other applicable credential when requested. Ensure wristband is visible and easily recognized
at all times. If your wristband becomes damaged or needs to be replaced, this may only be
done by the Box Office, or other Event Staff if after Box Office closes.
•
Drink alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired or
intoxicated guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner. Drunk and disorderly guests
will be escorted by security and removed from the event immediately.
•
Fighting of any sort will constitute immediate removal.
•
Refrain from using offensive language, making obscene gestures, wearing obscene or indecent
clothing, throwing projectiles of any kind and possessing prohibited items.
•
Not wear clothing which contains profanity or any clothing, accessories, or regalia that conveys
membership in, affiliation with, support of, or association with a criminal street gang (criminal
street gang as defined in Penal Code 186.22(f) or other similarly oriented group or association
prone to violence, criminal acts, or hate and racially biased based beliefs.
•
Refrain from displays of affection not appropriate in a public or a family setting.
•
Never enter the backstage area, or interfere with the progression of the event in any fashion.
•
Comply with the direction and instructions of event/venue staff.
•
Not solicit money or contributions for any purpose.
•
Be responsible for the dog(s) at all times. Dogs are required to be on a leash at all times and
must remain in the RV campground. For the wellbeing of the public and other animals, the
event reserves the right to eject dogs from the event if deemed aggressive. Dogs are not
allowed in the show area.
•
Refrain from any other conduct deemed by the venue to be inappropriate to the peace and
good order of the festival.
PROHIBITED ITEMS:
Guests who are in possession of prohibited items may be refused entry or removed from the event.
•
Illegal items will confiscate and turned over to the police.
•
If a guest is found inside the venue with a prohibited item, the item will be confiscated and the
guest may be ejected from the festival/facility.
•
All handouts, materials, signs or symbols visible to guests of Huck Finn Jubilee should have
authorization by event officials. Without proper authorization, subjects may be asked to leave
the event by Event Staff.
Huck Finn Jubilee has the right to refuse services to anyone. The following items are not permitted
in the show floor area:

Ice Chests or coolers of any type
•
No Outside Food or Drink
•
Illegal Drugs
•
Laser Pens and Pointers
•
Professional Photography Equipment unless granted a media credential in advance.
•
Weapons of any kind (i.e. guns, knives, pepper spray, teargas, handcuffs, stun guns, etc.)
•
Any Other Item deemed inappropriate or dangerous by the venue in its sole discretion.
This list is subject to change at any time by Event Production management. Thank you for your
cooperation.

SECURITY
Huck Finn Jubilee Bluegrass Music Festival works closely with Ontario Police Department
during the planning stages of this annual event. Private Security and Ontario Police
officers are on site at all times during the event. There will be overnight security inside
the event throughout the night. If you have an emergency call 9-1-1. Visit our Information
Booth near the First Aid booth or reach out to any of our uniformed staff for assistance.
Our number one priority is to ensure you have a safe environment.
Safety is our number one concern. After 6pm please be prepared to move your chairs
away from the front of the main stage area if requested to do so. This will allow room for
dancers and ensure all guests, staff, and entertainers have an enjoyable experience at
the Huck Finn Jubilee Bluegrass Music Festival.
BE A "HUCKFINNIAN"
Make the most of your festival adventure and be a good neighbor. Make new friends
even help change the world (in a good way). Uphold the Code of Conduct. Consider
the community and keep an eye on your friends. Extend that goodwill to strangers as
well. If you see someone who can use a hand, offer it. You will make his or her day, and
provide an example that will multiply across the crowd. Leave your worries at home
and be positive. Nothing is worse than someone ruining your mood. For a few days,
let’s celebrate the best things in life! Let’s see you smile, give a high fives, and do some
random acts of kindness… Happiness is the goal.
FIRST AID AND MORE
Our First Aid Staff is here to help you with medical emergencies. If you have an
emergency call 9-1-1. We work closely with trained professionals and the Ontario Fire
Department to plan ahead for an unforeseen emergency.
We have created a shaded area for our ADA guests, set up on a first come, first serve
basis. Please keep this area limited to only 1 companion per ADA guest so we have room
for as many people as possible.

ROOTS OF BLUEGRASS
We’re no expert – but we can share some information we found about the roots of
Bluegrass. All we know is – we like it, we really do!
Bluegrass music is a form of American roots music, and a subgenre of country
music. Bluegrass was inspired by the music of Appalachia. It has mixed roots
in Irish, Scottish, Welsh, and English traditional music, and also later influenced by the
music of African-Americans through incorporation of jazz elements. Settlers from the
United Kingdom and Ireland arrived in Appalachia during the 18th century, and brought
with them the musical traditions of their homelands. These traditions consisted primarily
of English and Scottish ballads—which were essentially unaccompanied narrative—and
dance music, such as Irish reels, which were accompanied by a fiddle.
There are three major subgenres of Bluegrass
and one unofficial subgenre. Traditional
bluegrass has musicians playing folk
songs, tunes with simple traditional chord
progressions, and using only acoustic
instruments. Progressive bluegrass groups
may use electric instruments and import
songs from other genres, particularly rock
& roll. “Bluegrass gospel” has emerged as a
third subgenre, which uses Christian lyrics,
soulful three- or four-part harmony singing,
and sometimes the playing of instrumentals.
A newer development in the bluegrass
world is Neo-traditional bluegrass, bands
from this subgenre typically have more than one lead singer. Bluegrass music has
attracted a diverse following worldwide. (Source: Wikipedia)
DR. RALPH STANLEY
Dr. Ralph Stanley has performed continually since 1946. The patriarch of traditional and
bluegrass music still does over 150 dates a year. He has written and recorded many songs
that have become bluegrass standards. Stanley’s music, particularly his high, mournful
vocals is so raw, powerful and authentic that it has moved and inspired performers from
all musical genres. Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Dwight Yoakum, Vince Gill, Jerry Garcia, Hal
Ketchum, Patty Loveless, John Anderson credit Stanley as a major inspiration.
NATHAN STANLEY & THE CLINCH MOUNTAIN BOYS
As the grandson of the Bluegrass music icon Dr. Ralph Stanley, Nathan made his music
debut at the young age of 2 on stage with his Grandfather at the Grand Ole Opry in
Nashville, playing the spoons for the Clinch Mountain Boys. He later graduated to playing
the mandolin, and in 2007 became the lead singer and rhythm guitar player for the Clinch
Mountain Boys, who are one of the most highly acclaimed bands in the music industry.
To rewind his life and look back in time his history is simple, an entertainer on a mission!
He’s an original. Making a special appearance in the Campground Thursday Night only.

the epitome of the “high lonesome sound” for over three decades. The most awarded

HISTORY OF HUCK FINN JUBILEE
Established in 1975 at the hands of a homegrown, Southern California family, the Huck Finn
Jubilee Bluegrass Music Festival is a three-day gathering of true bluegrass and jamgrass
music lovers. It is a genuine embodiment of endless pickin’ parties, instrumental roots
education, and bands performing to fans that believe in the core value that bluegrass
is about more than just the music. It is a community, one that delivers the nostalgia of
music-driven campgrounds, bare feet, laughter, dancing, instrument exploration, and the
development of new friendships. Huck Finn Jubilee Bluegrass Music Festival, produced by the Greater Ontario
Convention & Visitors Bureau, supports the cross-pollination and belief in the evolution
of this music. We are honored to work closely with the family who founded this unique
festival which showcases an array of musicians spanning across local, regional, and
national Grammy nominated and award-winning bands alike. Huck Finn is dedicated
in delivering exceptional headlining musicians as well as up and coming talent who will

Part of the Huck Finn Jubilee Bluegrass Music Festival is
immersing yourself in a long weekend of culture, tradition,
and family fun! Cucamonga – Guasti Regional Park offers
a beautiful landscape for our tent campers. The
mature trees, green grass, and water features
are unique for a park located within a busy city.
Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park provides 150 acres
of outdoor recreation activities in an urban setting.
Enjoy a wide range of activities including two lakes for
fishing, a swim complex with water slides, zero depth water play park. We hope all of our
campers, tent and RV, are having a good time.
The General Store has some items that may not have made it to your “things to pack” list.
OmniTrans shuttle services are at Gate #2 on Archibald Avenue to nearby Ontario Mills
Mall, and you are within walking distance to fast food restaurants on Archibald.
Remember showers are available, you can purchase water and ice, and our representatives
at the Information booth can assist you with directions, questions, and requests.
Be sure to join us for “In The Campground” music at the Pavillion in the RV Jammers
Campground. Some of the entertainers on the main stage will be there. We hope you
enjoy your camping experience and look forward to seeing you next year!

It is unlawful to Fish without a valid fishing license if you
are 16 years of age or older (FGC 7145)
A state of California fishing license is required to fish at
Cucamonga Guasti Regional Park. State licenses may
be purchased online at the California Department of
Fish and Game or at local sporting goods stores such as:

Looking back over the past 25 years of rootsy, string-based music, the impact of Leftover
Salmon is impossible to deny. Formed in Boulder at the end of 1989, the Colorado
slamgrass pioneers took their form of aggressive bluegrass to rock and roll bars at a time
when it wasn’t so common, helping Salmon become a pillar of the jam band scene and
unwitting architects of the jamgrass genre.

Shuttle service to the Metrolink Train Station in Rancho Cucamonga with intermittent
stops at Ontario Mills Mall in Ontario will be running Saturday and Sunday. Pick up
at the Bus stop just outside Gate #2, on the Archibald side. Shuttle schedule form the
