This season the Naples Botanical Garden and Collier County Library will be connecting. Naples Botanical Gardens staff will present 2 programs at four of our library branches. DIY HYDROPONICS FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS Naples Regional Branch Library Wednesday, January 13, 4-5 p.m. Hydroponics is the growing of plants with water instead of soil. Join Naples Botanical Garden staff to discover how hydroponics helps gardeners and farmers grow food where space and resources are limited. Make your own mini hydroponic system to take home! Registration is not required. BUILD A TERRARIUM Join Naples Botanical Garden staff in creating a terrarium to take home! Each library branch will have a winner and winners receive a free pass for a family of 4 to the Naples Botanical Garden and a book signed by Sean Kenney. Winning entries will also be displayed at the garden March 18 and 19, 2016 during the Naples Botanical Garden Flower Show. Watch for registration details and contest rules coming soon!
