Nature Connects
ART WITH LEGO® BRICKS
The Naples Botanical Garden will once again display the
wonderful Lego art created by Sean Kenney throughout the
garden January 15 through April 10, 2016. This season the
Naples Botanical Garden and Collier County Library will
be connecting.

at four of our library branches.
DIY HYDROPONICS FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

Hydroponics is the growing of plants with water instead of soil. Join Naples
Botanical Garden staff to discover how hydroponics helps gardeners and
farmers grow food where space and resources are limited. Make your own
mini hydroponic system to take home!

Join Naples Botanical Garden staff in creating a terrarium to take home! We
will learn about the building blocks of nature as we create a closed ecosystem

THE NATURE CONNECTS LEGO® BUILDING CONTEST
February 1 through 29
Here is the chance for 2nd through 5th graders to create beautiful nature
sculptures with their own Lego bricks based on the theme “Nature Connects”.
Each library branch will have a winner and winners receive
a free pass for a family of 4 to the Naples Botanical Garden
and a book signed by Sean Kenney.
Winning entries will also be displayed at the garden March 18 and 19, 2016
during the Naples Botanical Garden Flower Show.
