Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc
54°-61° F
USA
This is an eclectic blend of iconic grapes, Chardonnay
and Sauvignon Blanc. Created by head winemaker,
Christopher Nicolson, this wine shows the sharp acidity
and soft balance of both grapes. Coming from the
famed Macari Vineyard, the wine is zippy with fresh
acidity and full-flavored!
Red Hook Winery was started by Mark Snyder, a
Brooklyn native who sells top California wines through
his company, Angels’ Share Wines. Through his long
and close relationships with world-class winemakers,
Synder was able to bring in two greatest talents from the
Napa Valley region to Brooklyn, Abe Schoener of
Scholium Project, and Robert Foley of Foley Wines. The
Red Hook Winery produces wine from grapes grown in
the North Fork region of Long Island, specifically at the
vineyards of Macari, Jamesport, and Ackerly Pond, as
well as the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York.
Currently available varietals include five whites
(Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier,
Gewurztraminer, Riesling) and three reds (Merlot,
Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon).
