At Sonance we found the “design community” are much
more accepting of speakers when they are the same size
and shape as the lighting, therefore allowing the opportunity
to install distributed audio systems in primary listening areas,
significantly improving aesthetics and audio performance.

Lighting tends to define the aesthetics of a ceiling plan and with distributed audio speakers typically being mounted into the ceiling, if the lights and speakers “match”

When choosing speakers always consider the room size, speaker shape and positioning.
Quick tip: rather than stick with a traditional configuration of 6" round speakers in most rooms, we’ve noticed a growing
trend among designers for choosing smaller 4" square speakers but adding extra pairs in key rooms.
This gives a better sound dispersion and simultaneously lends the room a more contemporary look.
If you’ve settled on a speaker size, a square adaptor for VP converts any round speaker into a square one, simplifying
installation and alignment. Grilles are attached using strong neodymium magnets for a superior finished aesthetic.
