Bi-Wire Control Panels FX2200BW Range
Overview
Benefits
The patented ‘Self-Check’ technology,
integrated into the range of Bi-Wire
panels, gives the panels the facility to
flash all detector LED’s in a specified
zone to indicate the location of any
wiring fault in that zone, thereby
simplifying the fault finding process.

4 & 8 zone panel
The 4 and 8 zone panels within the range
now provide enhanced features, which
include a HMO facility on each zone via a
discreet DIP switch. If a zone has been
programmed for HMO operation, any fire
occurring within that zone will activate the
zone fire LED and only the sounders within
that zone. Providing the fire condition and
affected detector smoke chamber is
cleared within 2 minutes, the panel will
reset automatically. If no reset occurs, the
sounders, strobes and relays will be
activated on all zones.

Benefits
The unique Bi-Wire conventional, 5 in 1,
‘Self-Check’ detector is designed and
manufactured to provide peace of mind.
One of the major benefits of the ‘SelfCheck’ detector is it’s ability to inform the
end user when a detector has ceased to
function correctly or indeed has failed.
5 modes that are simple
to configure:
• Optical
• Optical/heat
• Heat detector
(1 of 3 modes)
The detector has been designed to monitor
itself for any internal fault condition or
failure. Should a problem be detected, a
zone fault will be generated at the panel
and the detector LED will light (amber
segment) indicating both zone and device.
To aid contractors and service providers
detectors in all zones can be instructed,
from the panel, to pulse their LED (amber
segment) every 2 seconds. This facility can
then be used help to locate wiring faults on
a zone’s wiring thereby saving both time
and labour.
