COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY CCAC Boyce Campus Summer High School Cohort Program Jump-start your college career by earning four college credits this summer in the CCAC Boyce Campus Summer High School Cohort Program. June 14–August 4, 2016 Tuesday & Thursday mornings 9:30 AM–11:35 AM CCAC Boyce Campus The CCAC Boyce Campus Summer High School Cohort Program is for high school students in grades 9–12. Two courses are offered this summer: CIT100-BC91: Computer Fundamentals & Applications • 3 credits In this general computer literacy course students learn computer fundamentals (hardware, software and the Microsoft Windows operating system). Essential applications—word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation software—are also studied. SDS101-BC91: Career Planning • 1 credit This course explores career choices. Students develop clear educational and career goals by assessing their interests, personalities and goals. The total cost for these two classes, including per credit tuition and fees for four credits, is $567, which can be paid in two installments. Participants will need to register as a CCAC student.
