Gymnastics training intervention centre
The GymRep gymnastics camp of Quebec
offers a unique opportunity for technical,
theoretical and practical training for
coaches. During camp, coaches work
directly with the C.G.s thus improving
their expertise on many different levels:
spotting errors, hands on assistance for
3
gymnastic movements, learning through
educational exercises, etc. On a daily basis,
they are invited to join different clinics or
conferences that are given by our G.E.s or by
specific invited coaches. These theoretical
presentations can deal with biomechanics,
learning, psychology or planning. The clinics
can also be of a more practical
nature dealing with presentations
at different stations, warm-up and
technique or hands on assistance for
different movements. We endeavor to
meet any special requests the coaches
may come up with.

The 20-year-old Quebec gymnastics camp deserves
to be proud and happy with their accomplishmments.
This camp has changed the face of gymnastics in
Quebec and shaped in many ways the current face
of the Quebec gymnastics. Generations of athletes
and coaches have lived the experience of GymRep
Gymnastics camps and their passage will be
significantly marked throughout their career.
We know that you entrust us with what you
hold most precious in the world: your child!
We are honored by your mark of confidence.
We strive for GymRep to be a significant
childhood and sporting experience that your
children will remember all their lives.
How to define my experiences gathered over 12 years
at GymRep Camps. I think there is no better word
than “extraordinary”. As a coach, it is the perfect
place to learn to develop our technical skills at the
level of manual assistance to the level of gymnastics
progressions. As a teacher, GymRep brings the three
elements essential to any good teaching: methods of
effective interventions, unique expertise in progression
of learning gymnastics and especially the joy of seeing
children dazzled by their successes and capabilities.
GymRep is an engine of pure happiness. Whether you
are experienced or not in gymnastics, GymRep is going
to make you a fulfilled gymnast accomplished, happy,
and especially proud of yourself. I could talk for pages
about GymRep, but I know a better way: “Come live the
experience GymRep! “
David Altmeyer
Top Canadian coach
One of the FGQ Experts and GymRep headcoach
« GymRep gives everyone who comes through the
Chameleon a chance to live a unique experience. In this
environnement, i have seen the transformation of little
dreamy girls into extraordinary gymnasts. The highest
degree of performance in the gym and clinics is attained
by bringing together all this knowledge. As a coach, I owe
GymRep a great deal. They have given me the opportunity
to mingle with celebrities of the Gymnastics World
as well as with gymnasts who aspire to great heights.
Being different from all othergymnastics Camp is one of
GymRep’s biggest strengths. Adventure, pleasure, learning
and friendships beyond your wildest limits is what GymRep
is all about. Here, dreams do come true in a splendid naturel
setting. »
