My name is Alessia Cotognini, I was born in 1983 and above here there is my signature of wire.
I live in Turin since 2012 and come from Abruzzi.
After my Advertising and design master’s degree, I’ve attended a graphic design course, for completing myself professionally

GRAFICIOUS is my personal website, the thread that joins things I do, my brand.
Its logotype consists of a kind of lettering which suits my handwriting and of a symbol; it is made up of a wire marking the blank page and
composing a soft name that flows fast and than goes captured in a black irregular round.

- 9/2 - 4/7 bachelor degree
“Communication Cultures”,
at the University of L’Aquila
Interesting thesis about robotics for everybody, after Microsoft launched in 2006 its software
Robotics Developer Studio. Final result: my small robot has explored the virtual simulated
environment, without hurting obstacles or crashing into walls for about 20 minutes, while I was
discussing the user friendly features and easy learning tecniques of the software.
2007
- 9/7 - 4/10 master’s degree
“Advertising and Design”,
at the University for foreigners of Perugia
Exciting thesis about a kind of advertising entirely built on images and music, without speech nor written words, a COMMERCIAL-NO-WORD
based on an original story that I’ve thought and described in the storyboard. Something viral but widespread throughout the classical media
channel like tv.
2010
- 6/10 - 9/10 Leonardo project
at People for Change Foundation,
Malta
Three summer months that I’ve spent in Sliema and San Gwann, collecting files and focusing on
immigration and civil rights, while discovering the whole maltese archipelago.

at TMS - Training Management System,
Turin
192 hours learning Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash, some of the Suite softwares that I have been
exploring during my degree last year.
2011
- 8/11 - 12/11 Web Design internship
at Studioware srl,
Vasto (CH)
Four months job in a communication agency, where I’ve learnt and I’ve exercised about web design. Then I came back to Turin.
2012
- 5/12 - 10/13 Flash developer junior,
at Ablabo - Iks Core Consulting
Turin
I’ve worked on a big project for a year and a half, I’ve TEAM-worked to develop a multimedia web based training product for Pirelli, one of the
best known italian brands. I’ve made some graphics works but I almost spent the majority of the time using Flash. I’ve learnt the basics of action
script, but never gone beyond.
2013
- since 10/13 Freelance & personal projects,

. Thankful about the skills improved there and the team working that I’ve experimented, I returned to my self only. In September I got fired and
start working as freelance, but first of all developing some good ideas I’ve thought about in the previou months. On march my illustrated
cookbook was born, the Graficettario. After some months two characters from the ‘60 for love cards were born too, Franco and Rosa.
And untill today I’ve made like that: my Etsy shop, custom graphics, wedding ideas, prints, cards and little jobs here and there,
