ALL incoming 7th graders MUST have these new immunizations by the FIRST DAY OF 7TH GRADE or they will not be allowed to begin school! Those immunizations are: 1. Meningitis vaccine (MCV-4) 2. A booster dose of Tdap if it has been at least 5 years since the dose of DPT. 3. last 2 doses of Varicella (chickenpox) vaccine if the student has not had chickenpox disease. If your child does not have these vaccines make sure to schedule an appointment with your doctor to receive the vaccines needed. As students receive these immunizations please submit documentation to the school nurse. Parents, Just a friendly reminder, for those students that failed the following screenings: Vision, Hearing, and/or Diabetes, please take the time to take your child to the doctor for a further evaluation. Screening results must be turned in to the state. It is very important for your child’s vision, hearing or borderline diabetes to be corrected for his/her success.
