TVB Cross-boundary Mini Movie: A Time Of Love – Malaysia
Kate Tsui, Chris Wang and James Wen compose love story in Malaysia
(Hong Kong – 3 January 2014) Every year, TVB produces a series of programmes for the
season of love. Everyone could enjoy their blissful moments during Western and Chinese
Valentine’s Day. At the beginning of 2014, TVB grandly produces Valentine’s specials
crossing the boundary. “Season Of Love” will bring audiences to Malaysia, Singapore,
Korea and Japan. An hour mini movie A Time Of Love will be shot unprecedentedly in these
countries with the cooperation with different TV broadcasters and the blend of top
production crew and brilliant cast in Asia-pacific region. TVB red-hot actress Kate Tsui
kicked off the production and arrived at Kuala Lumpur with Chris Wang and James Wen
from Taiwan during 25-31 December to bring about a sad yet romantic love story to global
audiences.
Riding on the popularity of Bounty Lady, Kate Tsui’s comedic talent was fully manifested by
her role SING FA-LUI. It was her first time to cooperate with popular actors Chris Wang
and James Wen from Taiwan. Though speaking different languages, shooting was smoothly
conducted with their professional acting. The crossover of brilliant actress and actors would
surely create chemistry and bring an unforgettable season’s special to audiences!
The story revolves around SHAN (starring Kate Tsui) who has lost all her memories, even
the names of her beloved ones, due to a traffic accident. She can only remember SHENG
(starring Chris Wang) who has saved her life. Unfortunately, SHENG’s leg lost ability and
sacrifices his racer career. Going through the hard times, SHAN and SHENG fall in love and
cohabitated. They even plan to get marry. Being a tour guide, SHAN comes across HO
(starring James Wen) who is from Taiwan. HO tells SHAN that she is his ex-girlfriend and
had travelled to different places together. SHAN feels like HO is someone she has met
before. Is HO really her boyfriend before the accident?
Except Malaysia episode by Kate Tsui, Chris Wang and James Wen, Linda Chung and
Korean experienced actor Yeon Jung Hoon will join hand in Korea episode. Entertaining
expert Wong Cho Lam will cooperate with Japanese comedian Watanabe Naomi and Aaron
Yan from Taiwan in Japan episode. Charmaine Sheh and Kenneth Ma will meet in Singapore
as well. The mini movie will broadcast at 8:00 pm on four consecutive Sundays starting
from 26 January (tentative) on Jade and Jade HD. Through TVB overseas partners and

platforms, the movie will also broadcast in the Mainland China (TVBC), Taiwan (TVBS),
Malaysia (Astro), Singapore (StarHub), Japan, Korea (KBS), Australia (TVBAustralia),
New Zealand (World TV), the United States (TVBUSA), Canada (Fairchild), the United
Kingdom and Europe (TVB Europe).
Furthermore, TVB will organise a grand international press conference at TVB City in Hong
Kong on 22 January (tentative) with invitations to partnering TV broadcasters from
Malaysia, Singapore, Korea and Japan and also the brilliant actors and actresses. Global
media would be invited to come over for the interviews and the movie previews. It is sure
that the A Time Of Love atmosphere will be boosted up! Global audiences stay tuned!
