THE COMPANY
Headquartered in Switzerland, the company was created over 30 years ago in 1982. At
first Swiss International was an association only for Swiss hoteliers around the world
or for graduates of the many Swiss Hotel schools. Throughout the years, the association was there mainly to exchange ideas and opinions or to just have a friend in a far
away country.
In 2005 the company was sold and turned into a marketing consortium mainly for hotels
in Switzerland. In 2010, the present holding Swiss International Hospitality Commons was
created and the strategy changed to exploit the chain Swiss International as a real hotel
brand rather than an association.
The company is offering license arrangements for hotels and management services,
ranging from full operational management, technical services, HR management,
Marketing, Sales, Revenue management, SEO and Distribution management.
Next to the Swiss International brand, the company also offers the luxury brand
“Royal Swiss” and the mid-market brand “Swiss Spirit Inns, Hotels and Suites”.

MANAGEMENT
The CEO & Managing Director of the Company is Mr. Henri (Hans) W.R. Kennedie, a Dutch
native with over 30 years of experience in the international hotel industry. He worked for
reputable hotel companies like, Steigenberger, Crest Hotels, Golden Tulip Hotels, Pegasus
Solutions and now since 2010 Swiss International Hotels & Resorts. Hans held positions in
the marketing & sales field, distribution, franchising, business development and has been
CEO for Golden Tulip from 2002 till 2009 and now since 2010 for Swiss International. He
has worked on all continents of the globe and is heading the international expansion of
the Company.
Next to Hans, the Board in Switzerland consists of one more non-executive Director,
Mrs Anne Cheseaux. To accelerate the growth and expansion, as well as the quality
and genuinity of Swiss International, the Board created the International Management
Council (IMC).
The International Management Council together has over 180 years of international hotel
experience.
The IMC consists of 10 members, all the CEO`s, Chairmen or Managing Directors of the
Area, in which Swiss International is operational. From East to West, the following are the
