NRS Technology is used for SBS Ceramic Street brake
pad range.
NRS Technology is based on a matrix of hooks raised on
the backing plate that mold into the friction material,
creating an indestructible mechanical bond between
steel backing plate and friction material without use
of adhesives. NRS Technology excludes completely the
possibility of delamination of friction material and
backing plate.
SBS is the only manufacturer within
the motorcycle brake pad industry,
using the NRS Tecnology.

HS – Sinter
The perfect combination of fade
free brake performance, brake
feel and thermal stability, especially developed for sport riding
and high loads from heavy
motorcycles. The HS lining is
rotor friendly, the performance
is stable under dry as well as
wet conditions and no thermal
bedding-in is required.
Recommended for new generation high performance, sports,
touring and custom motorcycles
which are originally equipped
with sinter metal brake pads.

LS – Sinter
Sinter metal brake lining LS for
the rear brake with high thermal
stability which in combination
with HS for the front brake
provides the necessary and
expected brake performance. To
avoid excessive braking of the
rear wheel, the friction level of
the LS lining is adjusted to
match the friction characteristics of the HS lining.
Recommended for new generation high performance, sports,
touring and custom motorcycles
which are originally equipped
with sinter metal brake pads.
STREET
Ceramic compound with stable
brake performance for front and
rear brake. High level of comfort
and longlasting brake pads and
rotor friendliness under various
conditions such as wet roads,
changing temperatures and different brake pressures.
Recommended for earlier models which are mainly not originally equipped with sinter metal
brake pads.

a. Clean backing plate from dirt/other contaminants
b. Cut shim to required shape
c. Remove protection paper
d. Press shim onto the clean/dry backing plate
CT – Carbon Tech
REAR - LS
Carbon based compound developed
with the experience from the race
tracks. CT provides unmatched feel
and braking stability with stainless
steel or cast iron brake discs – even
at extremely high temperatures,
The CT compound is designed for
use in stock and aftermarket calipers, where rider´s want the ultimate in stopping power.
Brake disc squeal when braking can be very annoying, particularly if
your motorcycle is quiet-running.
Squeal is normally caused by vibration of the brake pads against
the brake discs. Some manufacturers use anti-squeal shims or other
devices designed to reduce these vibrations.
SBS Brake Pad Shim is a self-adhesive rubber/glassfibre laminated
0.6 mm vibration/noise resistant material to be fitted on the brake pad
backing plate.
SBS offers a packaging of 4 pcs Brake Pad Shim to be cut into shape
with a knife/scissor to fit the design of the actual brake pad shape.
