Simply install the optional communication unit and you’ll
have two communications lines available — the perfect way
to maximise the benefits of the UF-895’s high-speed Super
G3 communications capability. It’s like having two faxes in
one. Each line can be operated independently so you can
take advantage of simultaneous transmission/reception or
assign one line exclusively to transmission and the other to
reception. Either way, you’re going to reduce waiting time
and cut the time it takes to do Multi-Transmissions in half.
If fax charges are eating up your communications budget,

Fully compliant with the ITU-T V.34 standard, Panasonic’s
Super G3 33.6-Kbps fax modem uses advanced JBIG
compression to transfer a high-quality full-page image in as
few as three seconds. Combined with the new Super Quick
Handshaking which reduces pre/post-transmission
handshaking time by roughly 60%, the result is dramatic
reduction in the time required for two faxes to exchange data.

productivity. Thanks to its high-capacity memory, this versatile
machine can perform multiple jobs at the same time. For instance,
while transmitting a fax from memory, it could also be printing out a
document from a PC while you reserve the next transmission.
Or it could be receiving a fax, printing a fax from memory,
and getting ready to send a fax.
Quick Memory Transmission
Unlike conventional memory-based faxes, the UF-895 dials as soon as
the first page has been scanned. You can continue to scan in additional
pages while transmission is taking place. With simultaneous scanning
and sending, you’ll save even more time.

Batch Transmission Capability
1) Realtime Batch Transmission
If you have high fax volume, another way to reduce transmission time
and costs is to use Realtime or Delayed Batch Transmission to send
multiple jobs to the same destination.
During memory transmission, the UF-895 searches its memory for
reserved files (up to 5 files) to transmit to the same destination,
automatically batching and transmitting them in a single phone call.
2) Delayed Batch Transmission
You can assign a time for batch transmissions to a Programme Key in
advance. All transmissions using the Programme Key are batched and
transmitted at the scheduled time. This makes it easy to take advantage
of the lowest possible phone rates.
