McFadden’s is dedicated to supplying their customers with high quality cabinet doors to meet all of their custom
kitchen needs. Our convenient door solutions allow you to easily order from a large selection of styles and species
and take delivery on McFadden’s own trucks. It is our business to become your reliable one stop shop for all of
your custom building needs.
Order Placement
For the quickest and most reliable placement of your door order please refer to the provided door order form.
McFadden’s will confirm your order complete with pricing for your review and approval. Upon receipt of a signed
copy of this quotation your order will be placed into production. We will fax a confirmation back to you once your
order has been put into production. Please note that once orders are in production it may not be possible to change
them.
Lead Times
Lead times on standard doors is approximately 10 to 12 business
days. Please allow an additional 3 business days on Specialty and
Applied Moulding orders
Freight
Where available, all door orders will be delivered on McFadden’s
delivery trucks. Expedited courier delivery is available at an
extra cost.
Wood Grades:
Wood grades apply to the face side of the product only.
Select: Select grade wood will provide an overall close colour
and grain match for the highest uniform look. Mineral streaks,
burls, and pin knots are restricted and few in occurrence.
All natural characteristics are controlled in terms of size and
frequency. Burls and mineral streaks may be no more than 1/8”
wide by 3” long per occurrence. Pin knots must be smooth
and no greater than 1/8” in average diameter. Smooth knots
are acceptable. Unnatural stains, streaks and spots are not
acceptable. Select grade is recommended for all light colour
finishes.
Regular: Regular grade wood allows a broader range in colour and grain pattern variations. Regular grade allows
for more natural variation and characteristics found in woods. All natural characteristics of the wood species are
acceptable as long as the overall appearance blends together. Regular grade is recommended for medium to darker
finishes.
Paint Grade: Paint grade wood is a blend of close-grained wood of any of the hardwood species and is non-
select for colour and grain pattern and may vary considerably. Paint grade is recommended for solid colour painting.
Please Note: MDF centre panels may be used unless otherwise specified to provide the best level of stability.

Applied Mouldings
McFadden’s selection of applied mouldings can help add that extra detail to your doors. Applied mouldings
105, 106 and 109 are glued to the centre panel. Centre F1 or F5 must be ordered. Inside frame option 52 is
required for 101, 105, 106 and 109 applied moulding options.

McFadden’s wants to make your door ordering as simple as possible. The easiest way to
order doors from us is with our provided order form.
Here’s the information required when ordering doors from McFadden’s.

Select a door style. (ie. P100, S100, Shaker, Mitre etc.)
Select a grade - Select, Regular or Paint. Please see grade descriptions on inside front cover.
When Selecting from the P, S or Shaker series of doors, you need to indicate an inside frame profile
(page 10) and a outside lip profile (page 11) if desired.
Select a centre panel (pages 8 & 9)
When ordering drawer fronts please refer to the size guide (page 13) to determine if your fronts will
require reduced rails to accommodate your chosen centre panel.
If ordering glass doors, please indicate the number of desired lites (Frame door = 1 lite) and provide
a drawing for mullion position if it is not standard.
If an applied moulding is desired, please indicate profile (page 5)
If you wish your door order to be tagged in a particular way, please indicate in the comment
section of the order form.

Drawer Front Size Guide
In order for you to be able to put a Knob or Handle on Drawer Fronts, all centre panel raises must
have 3/4” or 19mm surface for handle to mount. Therefore we make all centre panel minimums 4” or
100mm high to allow for 3/4” or 19mm raise for knob. Some Centre panels must be made wider to
accommodate the profile cut. See Chart.
