Joyous was involved in the arts in Shawano for longer than most of us can remember. She worked for 37 years to bring the Shawano Folk Music Festival to life (one of only two volunteers who could claim that record). She sang, danced and rode her motorcycle cross country whenever she could. In her 90’s she bought a mountain dulcimer and learned to play it. We lost Joyous last September, and we will miss her. in Mielke Arts Center MC: Tom Pease Yahvi Pichardo & Maria McCullough Intermission Red Tail Ring Michael Ammons & the Water Street Hot Shots ȋϐ ǣͲͲȌ After Concert Buckskinners’ ϐ Bring your instruments and voices and sing under the stars.
