Our Visit from HRH
The Countess of Wessex

Students eagerly await the
arrival of The Countess.
The whole school was full of
excitement when HRH The Countess
of Wessex arrived. She landed by
helicopter at Newsome High School,
drove round to the school and
made her entrance through the
front gates. The Countess spent a lot
of time talking and interacting with
students throughout her visit. Judith
Waddington, the Chair of Governors,
said that we were honoured and it
was an absolute pleasure to have
