Message
Message from Keith Kirsten
South Africa’s Favourite Gardener
Every now and again I get to the Chelsea Flower Show in London which is a Mecca for Garden and Flower
lovers from all over the world, and it has been for just over a hundred years now.
The inspiration and ideas I receive from this show are immeasurable. So is any effort one puts into an
event or gathering of people to celebrate the bountiful riches of nature. So too is the Ghana Garden and
Flower Show an inspiration to those who participate and come to enjoy it. May it GROW from strength to
strength and inspire everyone to garden and plant and most importantly of all to preserve and conserve
the natural beauty we are provided with.
To beautify one’s City, open spaces, Gardens and surrounds is a duty each and every one of us is
responsible for, Governments and Citizens alike. Enjoy and Have Fun too.
With my very best wishes,
Keith Kirsten.
