1. PENDAHULUAN
1.1 Terdapat pelbagai ijazah lanjutan terutama dalam bidang klinikal
yang berkembang pesat yang telah dikenalpasti dan diiktiraf
oleh Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia dari pelbagai universiti. Di
masa yang lalu, kebanyakan ijazah lanjutan ini dikendalikan oleh
universiti di luar negara. Namun demikian, pada masa kini,
universiti tempatan telah berupaya mengendalikan
banyak
kursus ijazah hinggalah ke peringkat Doktor Falsafah (Ph.D)
atau DrPH termasuk dalam bidang Kesihatan Awam. Selain dari
itu terdapat perubahan bukan sahaja dari segi terminolog Lbidang
atau disiplin perubatan berkenaan, malah jangkamasa kursus
juga telah berubah, misalnya keperluan minima empat (4) tahun
latihan dan sebagainya. Terdapat juga bidang baru yang telah
diwujudkan dan bidang tertentu yang telah digugurkan atau
digabungkan.
1.2 Kali terakhir semakan dibuat terhadap senarai ijazah lanjutan
dalam bidang klinikal dan bidang Kesihatan Awam ialah pada
tahun 2005 menerusi
