The BRG VP201/VP202 Indoor Speakers are a
perfect way to add mass notification to a facility
without an existing Public Address system. The
speaker plugs into a 110 VAC outlet for power
and connects to an existing Ethernet data point
to your computer network. BRG offers an
option to power the speaker with PoE 802.3at2009.
Each Speaker in the system is assigned an IP
address, so it is easy to check each device
within the Emergency Mass Notification (EMN)
System to make sure it is online and ready to
operate in an emergency.
Each Speaker can be placed into one of 254
zones. This is helpful when testing the system
or in the event that you want to only send out a
warning message to one or a group of zones.
Each speaker can receive pre-recorded
sounds, tones, verbal messages and live audio
announcements from a control point, touchtone
telephone or cell phone.
These speakers also include an NFPA 72
recommended Amber LED strobe light that can
be configured to light steady or flash when an
emergency messages is being broadcast. This
will alert the hearing impaired that an
emergency message is being broadcast.
