Assembly Instructions and User Guide
Before you start Assembly please note the following:
If assembling more than 1 bay in a run, be aware that the first bay is a ‘starter’ bay, and the second bay is an ‘extension bay’.
Starter Bay
Starter bays have 2 frame panels and a ‘starter’ back panel. Note that the rear flanges of the frame panels are orientated to face inwards towards each
other for a starter bay.
Extension Bay
Extension bays have 1 frame panel and a ‘extension’ back panel. The rear flange of the frame panel is orientated to face the starter bay.
On shelving runs, stager the back panels, one under, next over, next under etc as shown.
This helps keep the run straight.

Assembly Instructions and User Guide
Important safety information and guidelines for use
Individual loads should be stable and self
supporting with a maximum unit weight
within the safe working recommendations.
Recommended safe loading
The illustration below depicts the recommended safe loadings from the EU Directive for Manual Handling. This is a guide only, recognising the wide range
of personal capabilities, together with the diversity of handling situations.
General care
Little or no maintenance is required other than cleaning. Wipe with a damp cloth, using a mild detergent (only if required).
• Do not use a hose to spray the shelving
• Do not use abrasive or caustic cleaning agents
Inspections
Periodic inspections should be carried out to identify any damage or issues due to incorrect use. Check for the following:
• Frame fixings are secure
• Frames and shelves are free from damage
• Shelves are not overloaded
• All shelf clips are correctly engaged in the frame
• Shelves are fully engaged in the shelf clips
• Rack out-of-plumb should not exceed height/500 in both directions
IMPORTANT
If the shelving is damaged it should be reported immediately to ensure the necessary precautionary actions are taken.
It is not recommended to repair damaged components. Any part no longer fit for use should be replaced on a like for like basis.
Never apply heat in an attempt to straighten bent components.
