At home, at school, at the office, or anywhere, we can REDUCE the amount of waste we produce; REUSE an item or find someone who can use it; or RECYCLE products, so that our valuable natural resources are used again and again. REUSE—Donate Used Items Donations of clothing, furniture, and varying household items are accepted at several local facilities. Household items could include, but are not limited to, books, magazines, tools, toys, sports equipment, computers, copiers, printers, typewriters, records, cassettes, CD’s, VHS tapes, or DVDs. Food donations are even accepted at some locations. Check out your local listings for resale and donation shops located around town, make sure to call ahead to see if they accept what you would like to donate!
