system developed by Echo Park Paper Co. to help you preserve
and share your memories. From designer photo sleeves and
patterned paper, to decorative journaling cards and sticker
embellishments, Photo Freedom™ includes everything you
need to quickly and easily record you memories.

The Photo Freedom™ system was developed by Echo Park to help eliminate the frustration that
Stacy talks about and to get you creating again! This instructional idea book provides you with
a step-by-step guide that explains how to use the Photo Freedom™ products as well as provides
examples of basic, intermediate and advanced pages. Whether you have only a few minutes and
want to quickly document a special event, or you’re interested in including a full page, customized
layout in your album, the Photo Freedom™ system is designed to fit every style and approach to
memory keeping.

What are "Photo Freedom™ Compatible" Products?
Photo Freedom™ Compatible products are products
that have been designed specifically to fit the
configuration of Designer Photo Sleeves.
Photo
™
Freedom Compatible also means that the themes
and designs are intended to coordinate with other
products within the Photo Freedom™ system. Watch for
products that include the Photo Freedom™ Compatible
seal. This seal of approval, as seen here, let’s you know
that the product coordinates perfectly with other
products in the Photo Freedom™ system.

Getting Started with the Photo Freedom™ System:
To begin using the Photo Freedom™ system, you will need the following:
* 12x12" 3-Ring Binder
* Photo Freedom™ Designer Photo Sleeves
(in any configuration you desire)
* A "Photo Freedom™ Compatible paper, stickers and
journaling cards. (You may also use a collection kit,
which includes all of these items together)
* Your photos
* A pen for journaling
* A pair of scissors
* Additional embellishments as desired

The Quick & Easy Approach:
Looking for a quick and easy way to document your memories? Then look no further! The Photo Freedom™
system is designed to keep things simple. Follow the process below to document an entire event within just a
matter of minutes.

Step 1: Open up a Photo Freedom™ collection kit that
coordinates with the memory you want to record.
Step 2: Cut out the title and journaling cards from the
patterned paper contained within the kit.
Step 3: Use a pen to record your memories on the cut
out journaling cards.
Step 4: Slip photos and journaling/title cards inside the
Designer Photo Sleeve pockets.
The Intermediate Approach:
If you want to mix it up a bit and add a little more design to your photo pages, use the Photo Freedom™ Alpha/
Element sticker sheet to embellish your pages. Now you can customize the look of your album just by using the
designer stickers that coordinate with the theme you have chosen. For this approach you will repeat steps 1-3 in
the “Quick & Easy Approach.” But before inserting the photos and cards into the Designer Photo Sleeves, you will
add one more step. In this approach, you can attach stickers to both your photographs and the journaling/title
cards to add additional design and style to your photo pages. Once you’ve completed this step, you can slide
your photographs and journaling/title cards in the Designer Photo Sleeves.
Step 5: Mount stickers from the collection kit sticker sheet to the journaling/title cards and your photographs.

The Detailed & Advanced Approach:
With the Photo Freedom™ system, you’re free to make your pages as detailed or as advanced as you’d like. In
this approach, you can easily create a full page layout or embellish the journaling/title cards using additional
elements such as buttons, ribbon, brads or whatever other embellishments you choose. The beauty of the Photo
Freedom™ system is its versatility. While the system works great using only paper and stickers, it can just as easily
be utilized with more advanced techniques and embellishments. It’s simply up to you.
Step 6: Add additional embellishments as desired to both the journaling cards and photos.
