COMMUNITY NEWS ‘Every Child – Every Day’ 28 APRIL 2015 Welcome Welcome back to Term 2, isn’t the year going so fast? We have noticed a big difference in the weather since our return to school, so remember to rug up for our chilly mornings. ANZAC Service We had a lovely ANZAC service at our school last week. SRC members did a fantastic job of organising the service, and they spoke with awareness and respect. Mr Gordon McGee, Vice President of the Bishopsbourne Progress Association also spoke to us about his uncle who received a Victoria Cross for his bravery. The medal is now retained by the Queen Victoria Museum, Inveresk. Thank you to all those who contributed to this lovely service as we remembered those who made sacrifices for our country. Thank you also to William and Molly and their families for representing our school at the Bishopsbourne Service on Saturday morning. There was a great photo taken by the Examiner of our two students laying the wreath which can be viewed on The Examiners website.
