CCPHC
Western Paint World
March 24-26, 2016
Paso Robles, CA.
A few quick notes from the Paso Robles Fair Grounds
The main grand stand arena is scheduled to be under construction which is located directly behind the
main show arena and the warm up arena that we used last year for our show, we will be using the same
arenas again this year for our show. Please be prepared for loud noises such as equipment moving
around, hammering, steel banging together, jack hammering, concrete trucks delivering concrete and
whatever else that might make loud noises.
The main RV parking area that we used last year will not be available this year due to the construction of
the new main grand stands. The fairgrounds have other RV sites scattered out within the complex and
there are 4 RV parking sites across the street from the Fair Grounds. The large rigs may not be able to get
into some of the RV sites due to the position of the camping site and the surrounding buildings. The
fairgrounds is trying to install electrical and water hook ups in the carnie area. There is no guaranty that
the fairgrounds will have or how many hook up they will have in the carnie area. If anybody has to or
wants to dry camp on the fairgrounds the Paso Robles Fair is charging $35.00 per day and CCPHC is
tasked to collect the fees. Electrical hook up with water is $45.00 per day if you want to use these
facilities they will booked in the order that they are received. The 4 RV spots across the street from the
fairgrounds are $55.00 per day Paso Robles Fair Ground Prices.
For those of you that are planning on arriving on Tuesday to unload your horses and set up your
tack rooms please be aware that there is a $50.00 per stall/tack room per day early arrival fee that
the Paso Robles Fair Grounds is going to charge. CCPHC has no control over this extra fee for the
stalls we are being tasked by the Paso Robles Fair Grounds to collect the fees and we will be passing
those fees directly over to the fair grounds.
Thank You
CCPHC President
Wayne White

All judged classes will be conducted in accordance with current APHA rule book.
In addition to the APHA Rules, all rules of the show facility must be adhered to by all exhibitors and guests.

year. Exhibitors in this division are not required to own their horses.
APHA Green Horse classes are open to regular registry horses that have shown during previous years in any recognized equine association
in any hunter under saddle classes, western pleasure classes, trail classes, or western riding classes, but have not won more than 10 points or
a World or Reserve World Championship in these classes individually as of January 1 of the current show year. Points from all divisions will
count and are cumulative in determining eligibility. If a horse is considered eligible on January 1, it may continue to be shown in this class for
the calendar year, regardless of points earned. Once a horse has earned 10 points in a green division class, it will no longer be eligible to
compete in this class in subsequent years. Horses showing in this event may also enter their respective Hunter Under Saddle, Western
Pleasure, Trail or Western Riding class at the same show. Consult the APHA Rule book for complete rules.
