How are points earned?
Please read the following information carefully; if you have any questions, please contact
Carrie North at +1.312.673.5724 or [email protected].
1 point – for each 100 square feet of exhibit space reserved for
The Car Wash Show™ 2013.
1 point – for each Car Wash Show the exhibiting company has
participated in the past 10 years.
Selection Order
Each company will be assigned an appointment time based on
its total Priority Points. Groups of companies with the same
Priority Point totals will receive their booth assignments in an
order determined by random selection from within their group.
The random selection process is based on a random sorting
within Microsoft Excel, and was reviewed and approved by the
International Carwash Association’s General Counsel.
1 point – for every $3,000 in sponsorships purchased for
The Car Wash Show™ 2013.
1 point – for every 15 customers who registered by April 1, 2013,
using your company’s promotional code as part of the customer
incentive program for The Car Wash Show™ 2013.

At your appointment, you will be able to view the entire floor plan
for The Car Wash Show™ 2014, including which spaces have been
selected ahead of you and which are available. At the time of space
selection, you will be required to submit a signed exhibit space
contract and deposit of 20%. You will receive a confirmation of
your space selection onsite.
Please make sure to check your point total BEFORE April 17, 2013.
If any changes need to be made, please contact Colleen Campbell
at [email protected] or +1.312.673.5509. All changes to
point totals must be made by 5:00pm (CDT) on April 17, 2013.
No changes to point totals will be made after this time. There
will be no exceptions.
Appointment times are included in this information packet on
pages 6-8 and will also be e-mailed to the main contact of each
company the week of April 15, 2013.
What if I cannot make my appointment time?
If you are unable to make your appointment, and you would like
to participate in space selection, you may complete the proxy
form to have The Car Wash Show™ team choose a space for you
during your designated time. The proxy form may be e-mailed
to Carrie North ([email protected]), or you may bring it to the
ICA Pavilion, Booth #153 in Hall B at the Sands Expo, any time
before 5:00 pm (PDT) on Monday, April 22, 2013. Please note the
proxy form must be accompanied by a completed Contract for
Exhibit Space and 20% deposit payment.

If more than one company shares the same number of points, the final
selection order will be determined by a random selection from within
that point group. The random selection process is based on a random
sorting within Microsoft Excel, and was reviewed and approved by the
International Carwash Association’s General Counsel.
When will I receive my appointment time?
Please plan to allow 20 to 30 minutes to complete the booth space
selection process. Exhibitors must arrive 10 minutes prior to their
space selection appointment time and will have a maximum of
5 minutes to select booth space.
The floor plan currently shows the maximum number of booths
available on the floor. Booth may be combined to form a
larger space and exhibiting companies may form island
booths subject to the following rules:
An exhibiting company may delete booths from the floor
plan to form an island if and only if the total number of
booths on both sides of the aisle totals 400 square feet or
more. See below for examples.

Prior to The Car Wash Show™ 2013, we will finalize all exhibiting
companies’ Priority Points and determine the overall selection
order. We will then assign you an appointment date and time for
booth space selection, which will take place in the ICA Pavilion
(Booth #153) on the trade show floor during The Car Wash
Show™ 2013 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.

What if I miss my appointment time?
If you miss your appointment time, come to the ICA Pavilion,
Booth #153, immediately. We will work you into the next available
selection time.
What do I need to bring to space selection?
The International Carwash Association® must have a signed
contract and a 20% deposit before your company may select
space. Contracts received without payment will not be permitted
to participate in the space selection. Send payments and contracts
to International Carwash Association® Headquarters, 8320

[email protected]. Deposits can also be collected at the time of
space selection by credit card.
If an exhibiting company selects a booth size different from the
square footage requested on the contract, a credit card number
must be provided to pay for the additional deposit.

Rules Regarding Mergers & Acquisitions
• If two exhibiting companies merge, or one exhibiting company buys
another company, the higher of the two point totals will be used.
• If a company that has not exhibited in the past purchases an
exhibiting company, the new owner company will take on the
points of the past exhibiting company.
• If a parent company wishes to pick booth space for its exhibiting
subsidiaries or divisions, the accumulated points of the parent
company may be used only if the space chosen is continuous
(i.e., a large island booth which may then be divided into “sections”).
• Subsidiaries will not receive points (based on booth size or past
history) when space is chosen by the parent company and they
are exhibiting within the parent company’s booth space.
• If the subsidiary companies wish to have their own separate
presences apart from the parent company, they must choose
space for themselves, based on their own priority point totals.
Cancellation Policy
Please choose booth space carefully. Companies that cancel or
reduce space will lose priority points on the space released. Please
see Section 4 of the Rules & Regulations on the back of The Car
Wash Show™ 2014 Contract for Exhibit Space.
Can I select space with another company?
Companies who wish to exhibit near each other must choose
space during the time slot of the company with the lowest number
of points. If you wish to do this, please inform Show Management
by 5:00pm (PDT) on Monday, April 22, 2013.
Can I expand or relocate my booth if a better location
becomes available?
Yes! We are happy to expand your space or relocate you to your
desired location as long as it is available. Please come to the
space selection office in the ICA Pavilion, Booth #153, and a
representative from Show Management will take your request.
Changes will take place during the next scheduled break of the day.
