The Bull Rush Group would like to welcome you to the 14th annual Bull
Rush sale, Thursday February 25th at 1:00 PM. Thank you for taking the
time to go over our catalog and should you have any questions feel free
to contact any of the consigners. After 13 good years in the Agri-plex, we
are very excited to be moving to the newly built, larger Agrim Centre. As a
result of the extra room we have decided to add something a little different
into this year’s sale. New this year will be the addition of both purebred
and commercial heifers. This will be a great opportunity to add top quality
females from proven bloodlines from the heart of our programs. As with
every year, the Bull Rush group has brought you their top end bulls from
the respective consigners and this year looks more consistent than ever.
You will find a variety of bulls throughout the sale from fullbloods, reds,
blacks, calving ease and power, it’s all here and at an affordable price! All
bulls are offered to you semen tested and guaranteed with each consigner
standing behind their bulls 100%. If you’re unable to attend the sale, we
once again will have the sale online with DLMS to view and bid at your
convenience. Feel free to give our sales consultant Daryl Friesen a call, he

Every once and a while you get a bull that will be very underestimated, this
guy here could be the best buy of the sale he is heavy, thick, deep, long, wide,
you name it he has got it, don’t let the little bit of white throw you off. Colossal
could easily be grouped in the top 10 bulls in this sale. As you have seen from
us over the years we have had the odd bull with a little bit of color every now
and then, if they are as good as this you can’t pass them by. If I could sell
a pen of steers like this guy every year I would be more than happy. Don’t

Without a doubt in my mind this is the best fullblood bull we have produced to date!
Western Outlaw is a big rugged meat machine that has been noticed by everyone who
has seen him. He came to us a few days early with a 92 pound birth weight but hasn’t
looked back since, weaning off his great milking dam at a whopping 960 pounds on
Aug 30th. After weaning he picked right back where he left off and weighed 1405 on
January 1, pretty impressive for a moderate framed bull. Sired by our “Max” bull and

Here is a really cool bull that we feel will work in the heifer pen, with his
very moderate birth weight, calving ease pedigree to his smooth moderate
design. When you look at him you will notice a thick moderate bull that
puts it all together with smooth front shoulders, great neck extension and

Boynecrest dispersal last fall as the high selling cow. When she arrived

Being orphaned from his mama after 60 days of age has set him back a

doubt he is lagging behind from the rest of the pack, but if you analyze

Fullblood herd but this year we have decided to give you the
chance at one. In our opinion she is probably the best one out of
our keeper pen. You’ve seen the Sampson son’s in the sale now
here is what he can do on a female! She has a great disposition,

Commercial Pen of 3 Heifers
This year we thought we would give people the chance
to buy a few heifers out of the heart of our commercial
herd. These 3 red heifers have all kinds of depth of rib,
lots of length, and wide top. These three red heifers
come out of our commercial herd which the base of it
is Fleckvieh, and we usually run a fullblood bull along
with a red Simmental bull, so as you can see the red
Simmental really comes out in these heifers. Buy with
confidence here is some good moma cows for your
commercial herd.
terms & conditions
Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque
payable in Canadian Funds at par immediately following
the sale. The right of ownership shall not pass until after
settlement is made. All settlements must be made before
any livestock will be released.
DELIVERY: Bulls will be wintered free of cost until April
1, 2016 providing the bulls going back to their farm are
insured for all risks from the date of sale until purchaser
obtains possession. After such date there will be a $3.00
per head per day charge per bull. Assistance with delivery arrangements will be made available at cost.
FLECKVIEH STATUS: All bulls that are at least 5 generations Fleckvieh are considered Full Fleckvieh. Fleckvieh
percentages are determined by each individual consignor
to the best of their knowledge. It is recommended if
further research is required, to check with the Simmental
Association.
INSURANCE: Cattle are the property of the buyer as soon
as the auctioneer declares them sold therefore buyers
are urged to insure their animals. An insurance salesperson will be in attendance.
Certificate of Registry: After settlement has been
made the buyer will be provided with the proper registration
papers, duly transferred on the record of the Canadian
Simmental Association. Further transfer to the herd books
of other countries shall be at the buyers expense.
Breeders Guarantee: Standard terms set forth by
the Canadian Simmental Association, with the exception
where any animal is subject to any hormonal or surgical
reproduction techniques after the sale, the guarantee shall
be null and void.

Accidents: Although every precaution will be taken
to protect the safety and comfort of buyers and public,
neither the consignors, auctioneer, sales staff of facility
assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims
any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of accident or
loss of property.
Fertility & Health: All bulls have been under a full
herd health program. All bulls will be semen tested prior
to the sale. In order to assist our customers better. Should

This year with the new sales facility and more room we have decided to add some commercial
heifers into the sale. All commercial heifers are red blaze/baldy, polled and have been sired by
the same bulls as our purebreds. Heifers are also on a full herd health vaccination program
and are on a mixed oat ration with free choice hay. As with the bulls please don’t hesitate to
call us with any questions or concerns you have regarding our offering.
