Free from husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina’s Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other’s lives. “The Dixie Swim Club” focuses on four of those weekends and spans a period of thirty-three years Join this group of ladies as you think of a summer vacation at the beach while we are in the cold winter of NW Ohio! Men . . . It is not just a “chick flick” type show. If you know a woman, this MIGHT help you understand her a bit more! . . . or maybe not . . . Rehearsals are proving this show will be hilarious and extremely entertaining for adult age groups! No profanity, but children will not understand the humor. Sheree, the team captain, desperately tries to maintain her organized and ‘perfect’ life, and continues to be the group’s leader. Dinah, the wise-cracking overachiever, is a career dynamo. But her victories in the courtroom are in stark contrast to the frustrations Corrie Ehrhart, Carol Clark, Pam Diehl, Crystal Brooks, and Beth Hen- of her personal life. Lexie, pampered and outspoken, derson team up to provide the laughs in ‘The Dixie Swim Club’ playing is determined to hold on to her looks and youth as at the Huber Opera House February 5, 6 and 7. long as possible. She enjoys being married -- over and over and over again. The self-deprecating and acerbic Vernadette, acutely aware of the dark cloud that hovers over her life, has decided to just give in and embrace the chaos. And sweet Jeri Neal always sees the positive side of everything. Having been a nun for many years, Jeri Neal has been protected from life’s seamier side. Auditions placed the ideal cast members together to perform the charming characters in The Dixie Swim Club. Join cast members Crystal Brooks, Carol Clark, Pam Diehl, Corrie Ehrhart, and Beth Henderson as they bring personalities to the characters as directed by Dawn Patterson on February 5, 6 & 7 in this Huber production.
