About IF

INDIVIDUALISED FUNDING (IF) is a
way of paying for disability support that
gives you greater choice and control. It
enables you to create your own plan,
choose who provides your support and
employ and manage your own staff.
This gives you more flexibility to live
the life that you want. But it also means
that there are many new things you
will need to manage.
We can walk alongside you to navigate
the IF process. That way you can
ensure you’re getting the best from
your package and focus on what’s
most important: meeting your goals
and aspirations in your life.

While IF is relatively new, we have been
assisting people to manage their own
funding and support for over a decade.
CCS Disability Action is committed to work
in partnership with disabled people to
deliver individually tailored supports that
are driven by their needs and aspirations.
We call this our ‘Supported Lifestyles’
approach and this fits very well with IF.
We also work in communities to identify
and remove barriers so that all people
can lead positive and connected lives
and advocate for policies that ensure all
people’s rights are upheld.
