The Parent and Family Resource Centre (trading as Disability Connect) is delighted to announce the
second Indian Families with Children of Special Needs Support Group meeting in June 2015.
Taikura Trust is the disability Needs Assessment and Service Coordination organisation (NASC) in
Auckland. This meeting will focus on the eligibility for Ministry of Health funded disability supports,
the types of supports that may be available for people who have disability, as well as what may be
involved in the process of being reassessed for existing supports. Families are encouraged to ask
questions in regards to the support services available from Ministry of Health.
Kate Williams who is the Communications and Funding Manager at Taikura Trust will deliver this
presentation starting promptly at 10am. Print copies of the presentation (in English) will be
available.

many parents as possible about this meeting.
