Jim joined Principal Life Insurance Company in January
2003 as a Disability Income Regional Vice President (DI
RVP). He spent his first 10 years at Principal Life growing
Individual Disability Insurance (IDI) sales in California
and Nevada. In 2013, fueled by Jim’s efforts in the region, his territory was divided to account for the growing volume of business. Jim currently covers Southern
California, helping producers and firms build their IDI
production.

Throughout his career, Jim has authored many articles
on disability insurance for a variety of publications and
has served on the boards of directors for a number of
organizations. Jim frequently speaks about disability
insurance-related topics at industry seminars and
events. He has been a LUTC Moderator and is currently
a member of the NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) and the International DI
Society. Jim is a seven-time Principal Life Recognition
Circle qualifier.
