Weilburg: We will start our boat trip in this beautiful, small town, which is next to the river Lahn. Before you start, you should visit some interesting
places:
1. The Renaissance castle: this building is very beautiful and it pays to visit the garden and to have a guided tour to see the old rooms of princes, who lived
there hundreds of years ago.
2. The castle church: this protestant church is very imposing and magnificent . And this is not the only reason to visit this building, people who are interested in
classical music should do our boat trip in the time of the popular “Weilburger Schlosskonzerte”.
3. three tunnels: there is a distinctiveness in Weilburg: It has three different tunnels (for train, ship and car), which lead through the same mountain.
Limburg: We`ll stop our boat trip for sightseeing in Limburg at the Lahn. In this city we`ll have many things to experience:
1. The observatory of Limburg: Here we can have a look at our cosmos and spend some fantastic hours with learning something about the stars and our
universe. It`ll be a great experience!
2. The old town of Limburg: This part of the city is one of the most beautiful ones. Tiny, timbered old houses between small cafés create a
comfortable atmosphere, where you can spend some time to relax.
3. The cathedral of Limburg: This is the biggest symbol of the city and visiting the cathedral is always an adventure. Inside of it are many fabulous
paintings and the cathedral is directly next to the seat of Limburg`s bishop and to the castle of Limburg. So don`t miss seeing this!
Koblenz: We will stay a night (information about the hotel: look at the last page) in this historical city, which is next to the rivers Rhine and Moselle.
It is a beautiful region around Koblenz, old castles, etc….you will see.
1. The Deutsche Eck (German Corner): You can find the German corner at the water mouth of the Moselle into the Rhine. A monument of Wilhelm I, the
German Emperor in the 19th century is situated there.
2. Fortress Ehrenbreitstein: The fortress is located next to the Rhine and you have a great view over Koblenz. And it`s not only a forttress, today it is a youth
hostel, too. You have two different ways to get to the high-located building: by foot (but it´s very exhausting) or by aerial chair lift (for the lazy people)
Cologne: In this beautiful German city on the Rhine we will stay for one day and also for the night (Information about the hotel: Look at the last
page!). The greatest sights of Cologne are these:
1. The museum of chocolate: Here we can see many great things, especially for those who are totally into chocolate! You can watch how chocolate or pralinés
are produced, you can taste chocolate and also create your own. And these self-made chocolates you can buy and give to your family as a souvenir.
2. Old town of Cologne: People say the oldest parts of a city are the most beautiful ones! This is also the case in Cologne: here we will visit markets, bars which
offer the typical food and drinks of Cologne and with all the impressions given in the old town, you will feel like a real citizen of Cologne after some time.
3. The cathedral of Cologne: Of course, we HAVE TO visit the cathedral of Cologne during our stop in the city. As the second highest building of Europe and the
greatest dome of Germany, it is one of the most significant buildings in Germany and an obligation to see for every foreigner.
Rotterdam: Welcome to the Netherlands! This is the second-largest city in the Netherlands and one of the largest ports in the world. We will stay
here for one night (hotel information is on the last page), so that is enough time to see everything of this amazing city. Here we will start our trip along the
North Sea on the next day.
1. The port: It`s not only one of the largest ports in the world, it is the largest one of Europe. Visit the port of Rotterdam and decide for yourself, if you like it!
2. Culture: The city is also popular because of its culture and architecture. You can admire the architecture in skyscrapers of the skyline or in the Erasmus Bridge. If you are interested in art, go to the park of museums! Here you can find a lot of culture.
Hamburg: The second largest city of Germany on the Elbe impresses with its port, which is the largest in Germany. Besides, Hamburg is also the
home of the German Musical production with a building built only for “The Lion King” out on the water! In this fabulous city we will stay for the night!

1. The Reeperbahn: If you`re looking for party and music this is the right place to go at night. The most
famous part of the city offers you many bars, clubs and also theatres, where you have the chance to see
Musicals like Sister Act or Tarzan. The adventure of your trip is here!
2. “The Hamburg Dungeon”: You`re looking for some horror stories, but you nevertheless want to learn
something about Hamburg`s history? The Dungeon gives you the chance to get the shock of your life and to go
out smarter than before. Don`t miss this scary but fascinating opportunity!
3. The Port: Here you can experience what the work at a port really is like. If you just want to have a walk at the “fish market” of Hamburg or if you want to
have a trip with another boat which carries you to the most significant sights of Hamburg out on the water: It`s your decision! Have fun by checking out this
huge port!
Kiel: We will stay for the night in this beautiful city in the north of Germany (hotel: last page). We crossed the North Sea and Baltic canal and know we can
smell the fragrance of the Baltic see. Enjoy the charm of Kiel!
1. The Botanic Garden: Do you like flowers and other plants? Do you want to relax for a short time? Come to the botanic garden of Kiel and close your eyes to
feel the magic of this place!
2. Fish market: If you like eating fish, the fish market will be a good place for you in Kiel.
Binz: This lovely city of the island of Rügen at the Baltic sea impresses with its beach and especially with many beautiful parts of the town, and as those
will take us some time to visit, we will stay for the night (Hotel: last page!). Here we will see:
1. The beach of Binz: You`re looking for some fun and action at the water, then you`re totally right at this place! The beach offers you fantastic opportunities:
for example, you can go sailing, hire a pedal boat, do skiing on the water, go swimming or you can do some gymnastics at the beach or just have a relaxed walk
in the dunes. It`s your choice!
2. The castle of Binz: in the forest of the city and surrounded by a wonderful garden you can see the great castle of Binz, where you can be guided through the
private apartments of lords and ladies of times gone by. Don`t miss this chance!
3. The climbing park: We hope you`re not scared of heights, because now it`s getting high up! The climbing park of Binz gives you the chance to climb on trees
in which they built a small route with wood or, for example, tires. It`s great fun and a real adrenaline kick!
Szczecin: Welcome to Poland! This is your first stop in the third country of our boat trip. Szczecin is next to the Oder River and impresses with old
buildings like gothic churches and beautiful castles. We will stay a night (hotel: last page)
1. The Haken terrace: This promenade of Szczecin, named after the mayor Haken, is 500 m long and the most significant place of the city. You have a great
view on the Oder River.
2. The castle of Dukes: If you are in Szczecin, you have
to visit this beautiful castle!
Bydgoszcz: This Polish city at the Vistula river shows us great buildings and much culture, a place where we must spend a night (Hotel: last page!),
which is on the one hand very interesting and on the other hand totally fascinating! These will be the sights we will visit:
1. The sculpture “Man crossing the river”: If you are interested in art, this will impress you a lot. It seems like the sculpture is flying above the river and
especially at night this piece of art is really beautiful. Next to the sculpture are many bars and cafés, where you can chill out a bit.
2. The Mostowa street: Are you ready for some shopping? We`re asking you that, because Mostowa street is the right place to do that! Small, lovely boutiques
but also bigger shops offer you the chance to spend some money and get some fashionable clothes. Go and get some! And if we are lucky, we will have the
chance to go on a funfair as well.
3. The Opera Nova: If you are a fan of ballet or classical music, you will love this trip to the Opera. The glamorous atmosphere of this
huge building is impressive and maybe we will also get the opportunity to watch one show. Let yourself be caught by this outstanding way of the performance!
Tczew: This city is the final destination of our trip! Here we will stay for some nights (Hotel: last page!) and it will be a great time. With all the history
Tczew has got, it will be able to pull you into its spell and to fascinate you with all its sights. These will be he places we will go to:
1. The parish church of Tczew: This church you will see soon from far away. With its great tower and its Gothic architecture it is the most significant building of
Tczew and a Must-see!
2. The Vistula bridge: The symbol of the city is this old iron bridge above the Vistula river. It is used as a bridge for cars and walkers and on it you`ll have a great
view over Tczew and the Vistula.
3. Bike tour: If you like action, you will love our bike tour through Tczew. And don`t worry, it won`t be exhausting, because the land there is pretty flat and we
will stay on the bikepath near the river. During the bike tour we can see other sights of the city and after our tour we can have dinner in one of the small
restaurants of the old town!
