Reflecting on his daughter’s experience with Girls on the Run he wrote, “As a former competitive runner, it was hard for me to see past the running aspects of your program, but I discovered that the GOTR curriculum played a big part in giving her the confidence to speak about things important to her. Today at her school she is known by her teachers and fellow students as a girl with quiet confidence and effective leadership skills.” GROWTH +5% In gratitude for your ongoing support, Kerin BraschKim Eiring Executive Director Board President P.S. More girls will embrace and embody the life skills of our unique program as they grow. GROWTH +8% COACHES By 2020, we envision that over 3,300 girls in King County will participate in our programs each year. Our five year vision focuses on three key elements: GROWTH GIRLS We dream and deliberate constantly about how to reach more girls with our messages of empowerment. With less than 3% of 3-5th grade girls in King County participating, we know there is room to grow and inspire more girls with our lessons on competence, confidence, connection, caring and character. This past year our Board of Directors spent countless hours developing a Vision Statement for the future of girls in King County. Combined with valuable insights from our focus groups, we have ambitious goals for our programming. STATEMENT OF REVENUE & EXPENSES Fiscal year ending June 30, 2015.
