The Waterworks is pleased to offer discounted entry fees for pre-booked groups of more than 10. You will receive: Bring your club or social group to The Waterworks and experience one of the Coromandel’s top visitor attractions. We cater to groups of any size and have a fantastic entry, lunch and hot beverage package outlined to the right. Your group will enjoy a delicious set lunch made fresh using ingredients from our vegetable garden followed by a hot beverage on the beautiful sun deck overlooking the gardens. Your group will then enjoy exploring our magnificent grounds learning the history of The Waterworks and marveling at our quirky water powered gadgets. The Waterworks is wheelchair friendly, there are no steep gradients in the park. We have two electric mobility scooters which are available should any of your group wish to use them. The Waterworks offers a unique and entertaining experience. We recommend you allow at least 2 hours to experience everything The Waterworks has to offer! A wonderful morning/afternoon tea stop to stretch your legs and walk through these well groomed gardens. The Waterworks – www.thewaterworks.co.nz Lunch at a hot beverage at The Waterworks Café followed by a gentle stroll through the grounds. Learn the history of the site and marvel at the quirky water powered gadgets. We are situated on the 309 Road in the Waiau Valley east of Coromandel Town. The 309 road has many excellent attractions which you may wish to add to your itinerary. The Waterworks is within a 2.5 hour drive from Auckland, Tauranga and Hamilton.
