Every year, Lansing Catholic students and staff provide thousands of service hours inside and outside of our community. From our
annual Work-a-thon to our spring break and summer mission trips to assisting local families during the holidays, LCHS goes above
and beyond helping others in need.

Spent over 14,000 hours providing Christian service to local agencies through our annual Work-a-thon and student service
throughout the year.
Provided 300 cans of soup and 600 fruit cups to the No Seniors Without Christmas program through Ingham County TRIAD,
including 300 handmade boxes filled with candy that were made by our art classes.
Filled an SUV with over 100 blankets and sheets that were donated to St. Vincent Catholic Charities.
Sponsored 16 families (21 adults and 69 children) at Thanksgiving and Christmas by providing 3 weeks worth of food for each
family and wrapping over 1,000 Christmas gifts for the family members.
Donated over $1,500 to the Sparrow Foundation from our annual volleyball Dig Pink event.
Made and donated over 40 blankets to Haven House residents as part of Homeless Night. During Homeless Night, 48
students spent the night in boxes in our school parking lot and served breakfast to Haven House residents.
Over 140 students and adults participated in mission trips to Kentucky, Alabama, West Virginia, and Farmington, MI.
Packaged 11,000 lbs of food for Genesee County Food Bank.
Donated 55 units of blood to the American Red Cross.
Spent over 60 hours sorting, organizing, and cleaning at North End Soup Kitchen.
MOBILE FOOD PANTRY
On Saturday, April 19, 2014, Lansing Catholic hosted the City of Lansing’s
Mobile Food Pantry. LCHS students, staff and volunteers provided
hospitality for nearly 1,000 people in need. The food distributed went to
nearly 650 households, helping to feed over 5,100 people in the greater
Lansing area for one month. LCHS will once again host the food pantry on
Saturday, April 18, 2015.
