B, EPC, NC Positive Behavior Support addresses the fact that all children display some type of behavioral challenge. However, some children have a more difficult time managing their behavior, and often times this may be related to the disability they have. This video training focuses on how to prevent negative behaviors before they occur and how to create environments that offer positive behavior support to children with behavioral challenges. B, EPC, NC Starting the journey to inclusion requires an understanding of the past, and a philosophy for the future. Then, experiment with balloon rockets. You’ll breathe easy always knowing the wind is around. B Engineers to the Rescue Grades ? You’re on a camping trip with your Girl Scout troop at Yellowstone National Park. Your first day at Yellowstone was incredible; you hiked in the morning, saw Old Faithful in the afternoon and then sang camp songs under the stars. You also learned that Yellowstone is situated on a bed of lava and that minor earthquakes are frequent…and that night an earthquake occurred for 2 minutes- just enough time to break the water pumps, disrupt your energy generators and throw your animal proof food box into a ravine. The good news is that your Girl Scout troop/ group is safe and you’re equipped with volunteers who can help you engineer your way to the rescue. Your mission is to make a wind powered crank to lift your food box, build a shelter to withstand any aftershocks and design a car prototype to get your message to potential rescuers. Are you in? B 16 Journey Design Time Techbridge Kits Description Available At What do toys, cookie packages and bubbles all have in common? They’re all developed by engineers! First, challenge yourself to be a toy designer, brainstorming, drawing up plans and building a prototype. Then, explore being a Product Designer and a client by collaborating to build the perfect pencil bag. Next, become a packaging engineer as you create shipping materials that prevent your cookies from crumbling. Finally, put it all together as you and your team try on four hats at once — mechanical and chemical engineer, marketing specialist and product manager — as you work together to make a new bubble product a giant success.
