brand has been seeking for as long as forty years, and a symbolic motif by
Marcel Wanders, a world renowned artist.

Born in the Netherlands, Marcel Wanders is a product and interior designer who drew
international recognition for his Knotted Chair produced in 1996.
He has been presenting designs to top brands in various fields, such as Flos, Alessi, Puma and
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Wanders also designs for architectural projects, such as Kameha
Grand Hotel in Bonn and the Mondrian South Beach hotel in Miami. Starting with his own studio,
Wanders is a co-founder and Artistic Director of the design label Moooi, releasing product design
worldwide. He exhibits widely and his work is included in such significant museum collections
as MoMA New York and the V&A Museum in London. Wanders has further published numerous
books, including ”Interiors” in 2011 on his interior design projects, and is extensively profiled in
the global media, appearing in such publications as the New York Times and The Financial Times.
He has been Art Director of the new brand of COSME DECORTE “AQMW” since 2010.
