Auction Rules
General Matters
• All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on items.
• The Auction Committee has strived to provide a program book and described the
items and services correctly, but all items are sold “as is”. Certain auction items
and/or services may have some restrictions or qualifications which may affect the
value. The items are not negotiable. Please read carefully the specifications and
limitations.
• The Auction Committee makes no warranties, expressed or implied, or
representations of any kind of nature with respect to the property or services, and
in no event will be responsible for the correctness or description, genuineness,
authenticity of the property or services; no descriptions written or stated in the
book or made at the sale or in the bill or sale or invoice or elsewhere shall be
deemed such a warranty or representation of an assumption of liability. By his or
her purchase, the buyer waives any claims of liability against either Our Lady of
Mt. Carmel or the Donor of the property/services, and neither Our Lady of Mt.
Carmel nor the Donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damages to
property that result from the utilization of property or services sold.
• PAYMENT BY THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER MUST BE MADE AT THE CASHIER AREA
BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Winners will be posted near the cashier’s station throughout
the night. Please check the board to see if you’ve won any items. You may pay
and claim your items at any time after 9:00 p.m. Payment may be made with
cash, personal check (payable to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel PTG), VISA or
MASTERCARD.
• All items and services are subject to terms and conditions set forth by the donor.
Silent Auction
• All items in the Silent Auction Area have an assigned number. A bid sheet with
that number is located near the item. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY THE BID
SHEET BE REMOVED FROM THE TABLE.
• To bid, write your name or bidding (admission ticket) number and the amount of
your bid on the bid sheet. The bid on the bidding sheet must be greater than
or equal to the stated “minimum bid.” Each new bid must be at least $5.00
more than the last bid. If at least the “minimum bid” or raise is not bid, the bid
will not be valid.
• Please note the closing time of the tables. Table closings will be posted in the
Silent Auction area. The highest bid on the bid sheet will be deemed the winner
(Except for Countdown Auction, See Countdown Auction Rules).
• EACH BID OBLIGATES THE BIDDER TO PAY HIS/HER BID PRICE IN FULL IF
HIS/HER BID IS DEEMED THE WINNING BID AT THE TIME THE TABLE CLOSES TO
FURTHER BIDS.
• You may bid on each item as many times as you wish. After you have made your
bid, please allow others to bid. When time is up, please comply with the Auction
workers by placing any and all pens on the table and backing out of the area.
Thank you.

bumblebees on a serving platter. Spring is definitely in the air in this class.

is hand-painted and handled with care. It’s sure to unwrap a smile every time you use it.

The 4th grade class hand-painted the individual tiles surrounding a mirror to reflect the
wonders of the seasons. Displaying this beauty gives you plenty of reasons to celebrate the
seasons year round.

days grow long, this serving platter is sure to brighten your gatherings.
The Auction Committee would like to send a special THANK YOU to Pottery Creations for donating their
supplies, time and creativity for these projects. Without their contribution, we wouldn’t have such priceless
