Today Binotto is a global leading group operating in the market of hydraulic systems for
tipping trucks, trailers and semitrailers. It is undoubtedly the only company in Europe to
design and produce such a vast quantity and variety of telescopic cylinders (with the
widest range for capacity and product technical variations).
Over 50 years old; more than 100 countries all over the world with our own subsidiaries,
authorized dealers and specialized workshops; 3 plants with high-technology robotized
production lines; a team of more than 150 persons; 30.000 square meters and a
production capacity of more than 130.000 units per year.
Today Binotto holds the pole position on the European circuit, thanks to its corporate
strategy, customer oriented and founded on the quality culture of the people, which allows
to offer high-performance and long-lasting products as standard.

The growth of the Binotto Group is due to a successful strategy applied in the national and
international markets from the beginning.
The claim is: “close to the market!”

Binotto is the main brand of the Group.
It is synonymous with hydraulic kits for tipping bodies (OSC): front-end and under-body
telescopic cylinders, wet kits, oil tanks, pumps, ptos and valves.
The Binotto products are designed for tipping trucks, trailers and semitrailers up to 100
tons gvW (gross vehicle weight).
The plants are based in Dueville (Vicenza) and Stanghella (Padova).

agricoltural market , with a capacity range up to 10 tons (gvW).

1950
Binotto started producing under-bodies and front-end
cylinders for the industrial truck market, in its first plant
near Vicenza.
In those years, while the Italian Transport Market was
transforming and developing, Binotto became the
reference brand name for all the Italian body-builders. In
facts, thanks to our know-how and to our flexibility, we
could easily shew our ability to fast answer to any
market requirements and we managed to became at first
an Italian leading company.
Continuously increasing its product lines in order to satisfy the variety of its customers’
needs, Binotto:
- developed its own unique solid design, with stop contact faces directly from the tube
body, which still remains an unsurpassed solution;
- started using the internal and external “rolling” finishing for all the stages, in order to
supply reliable and long-lasting incomparable products.
Binotto would have become in a really short time the reference brand name for the major
company in the market.
1960
MARIZ, based in Fontaniva (Padova) started
Telescopic Cylinders for light tipping vehicles.

In those years the Binotto quality reached the main English, Dutch
and German bodybuilders.
They would have represented the base for the solid export
development in the following years
1970
At the beginning of 70’s, MARIZ started designing and
producing telescopic cylinders for vehicles gvW 3,5 tons
and for the industrial market.
In a short time, MARIZ became the reference brand name
for all the Italian body-builders of light tipping vehicles.
Thanks to the most important international exhibitions,
Mariz started exporting its products in many European
Countries.
In that period, MARIZ started supplying the major Italian light-trucks bodybuilders and
becoming a European leading company.
1994
The Companies Binotto and MARIZ joined together under the control of the Marfin holding
company.
It was the birth of a solid important group, the only one to design and produce in Europe
such a vast quantity and variety of telescopic cylinders capable of covering the widest
range of load-bearing requirements, varying from 2 to 100 tons.
Each company maintained and developed its own specialization, increasing the range,
keeping whole the manufacturing process under direct control and using only high yield
steel with no welds.
1995
The new Binotto factory in Dueville with its 10.000
square meters and the big investments to
complete lines’ automation (with robots, numeric
control tool machines, automatic welding units) of
both the plants were at the base of the huge
increase in production over the following years.
1996-1998
A complete re-organization of the business activity was
started, focusing on the development of an increasing
export market and on the creation of a worldwide distribution
network.
The first Subsidiary Company was Binotto UK, based in
Loughborough, with the tasks of settling up the best
technical solutions for the specific needs of the market,
developing a distribution and service network for all the
Binotto products and offering a complete line of hydraulic
components and spare parts to satisfy any bodybuilder or
transport company requests.
1999-2001
According to the feelings with the growing trends of some
European markets, Binotto successfully based another
subsidiary company in Poland, to handle the fast
development of this country market.
Particular attention was given to Middle Eastern markets,
where Binotto raised its own reputation, especially in Saudi
Arabia, Egypt and Emirates.
In the meanwhile, Binotto and MARIZ started supplying all
most important European semi-trailers manufacturer and
bodybuilders, especially in Germany, Holland, Spain and
Portugal.
2002-2004
The Binotto Group grew up, thanks to the increasing
export market.
With more than 100 working people and a renewed global
vision, Binotto and MARIZ aimed to supply and service
any country in the world. Binotto IBERICA, a new
subsidiary, was based in Spain.
In this period, also Binotto CHINA was based.
In a short time, all the subsidiary companies increased their
turn over and their working people, achieving a large market
share in the main European Countries as like as England,
Poland, Spain.
New distribution projects were launched with immediate
successful results in France and in other European and NonEuropean countries (ex-U.R.S.S. Regions but also in the
North of Africa, the Far East and the South of America).
Without forgetting to maintain the leader position in the Italian market, where Binotto
developed a new sales and services network to closer cover each region.
2004-2006
The Binotto Group keeps on increasing its business and
both the plants are completely renewed: total surface is
20.000 squaremeters.
Binotto still remains the first totally European manufacturer,
producing hydraulic cylinders, thanks to its successful
strategy customer oriented and founded on the quality
culture of the people, which allows us to offer highperformance and long-lasting products as standard.
2007
The new Binotto plant started production in
Stanghella (Padova).
It is the symbol of the Binotto capacity to
react to the recent fast movements of the
market.
Dimension: 20.000 square meters (10.000 covered)
Production capacity/year: 30.000 front end cylinders

Steel producers accepted as Binotto strategical suppliers are only Dalmine and
Mannesmann, with their proved and certified quality;

For all the stages and for the outer tube, we exclusively use seamless steel tubes with
high yield points (RS ≥ 48 KGS/MM2) and tensile strenght (R ≥ 65 KGS/MM2);

The solid design still remains an unsurpassed solution: it is the special Binotto design,
with stop contact faces directly from the solid tube, without welds;

Total absence of stop-limit rings: the stop-limit is obtained on the pure pipe to provide
the user with a maximum safety when the cylinder is wide open;

The internal and external “rolling” burnishing process for all the stages and the outer
tube allows us to supply reliable and long-lasting incomparable products (increasing
the seal lifetime);

The Binotto tubes are roll hardened for exceptional smoothness. This feature of the
tubes linked to the special sliders doesn’t permit more of 0,07 of clearance between
the stages, which is a good help to resist to side loads and bending factors;

The seal and wiper system is tested and proved to run in the most close to the limit
environments, from the Siberian Steppe to the Saudi deserts;

Our widespread service network, with first rate technical assistants, is ready to answer
