MONTRÉAL – HALIFAX – The Ocean
JASPER – PRINCE RUPERT
A journey to the friendly shores
A region rich in First Nations culture and history
The Montréal – Halifax train makes an overnight journey along the St. Lawrence River before crossing the provinces of New Brunswick
and Nova Scotia. The train leaves Montréal just as the sun sets over the fertile farmlands carpeting the southern shore of the St. Lawrence
River and the Matapédia Valley, arriving in misty Chaleur Bay early the next morning. After breakfast, lessons on lobster traps, ghost ships
and Acadian traditions await passengers in the Park car. It’s easy to get used to the rhythm of the Ocean!
Passengers on this two-day daylight cruise will be treated to spectacular views of Jasper National Park, the rugged Canadian Rockies,
the hauntingly beautiful Pacific Coast, and the rustic settlements, farms and sawmills dotting the lake-studded landscape. The train stops
overnight in Prince George*, and then winds through the Yellowhead Pass, across British Columbia’s interior plateau and along the mighty
Skeena River. From early June to mid-September, you can upgrade to Touring class for all-inclusive service that offers exclusive access to
the famous Park car including the dome viewing area and at-your-seat full-service meals with Canadian wine.
*Accommodations and transfers not included
MONTRÉAL – GASPÉ
WINNIPEG – CHURCHILL
The wonders of the Gaspé Peninsula
A once-in-a-lifetime NORTHERN adventure
This train makes an overnight journey to the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula, travelling east along the St. Lawrence River, through the
Matapédia Valley and then around to Chaleur Bay, voted one of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World. It also passes close to the
picturesque village of Percé, with its famous pierced rock and Northern gannet colony, and provides access to the natural wonders of
Forillon National Park.
The Winnipeg – Churchill train completes the 1,700 km journey to the vast subarctic region of Northern Manitoba in two days. Along
the way the beautiful Manitoba landscape transitions from majestic prairie to towering boreal forest, from the cold lakes of the taiga to
the barren beauty of the tundra. Visitors come from around the world to whale-watch, admire the shimmering Northern Lights and, from
late-September to mid-November, observe polar bears in their natural habitat.
MONTRÉAL – SENNETERRE/JONQUIÈRE
Untouched natural beauty
Travelling between Montréal and the Abitibi-Témiscamingue or Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean regions, these trains cut through dramatic
forests, rugged cliffs and soaring waterfalls, stopping along the way at isolated fishing camps nestled in pristine natural settings. It’s an
adventure-seeker’s fantasy! And there’s plenty of room for all the sports equipment that comes with it!
