Sunday, May 10, 2015. Three Creeks Metro Parks - Alum Creek Trail S.
Mother’s day ride. We had an expected small turnout. The weather was warm, sunny and heavy on the pollen but well within our comfort zone.
We rode the Alum Creek Trail out of the the Three Creeks trailhead, past the Oxbow Loop, the lost triangle meadow and on to the Livingston
Road crossing where we turned back. Very nice ride, relaxed and uneventful.
About three miles from trailhead, we encountered a mother and son, who on his first ride on his brother’s bike learned what a flat tire does to
your bikes effectiveness and what a three mile walk might be like. The good guys from GWNN patched the tube and had them rolling again.
Happy Mother’s Day, lady.

Linear slats make for a spooky ride- south of Livingston.

Our Mother’s day good deed. It’s several miles back to trailhead. Yes, M’am. We can fix
that.
