Kalypsys' unique 1536 well washer/dispenser workstation allows
you to broaden your 1536 capabilities by combining a 1536 well
washer with a high speed dispenser.
The benefits of a 1536 well washer/dispenser combination are
considerable. Use the system to coat plates, or opt to boost your
signal to noise ratio and improve your Z' factor by adding a wash
step to an assay. Ever wanted to run a uHTS ELISA in a 1536 well
format? Now you can. And only your creativity will limit you when
it comes to working with the system's dispensing options: not only
can each tip independently access any well on a 1536, 384 or 96
well plate, but it can dispense any volume of up to eight different
reagents into a single well. This provides you with significantly
greater flexibility than other instruments in its class.
EASY TO USE, ROBUST and RELIABLE
Kalypsys' 1536 well washer/dispenser workstation is easy to use
and can be programmed to run new configurations in minutes. It's
the most robustly built washer/dispenser on the market and has a
four year track record of industry-leading system reliability.
It also offers all the things you demand from a dispenser
workstation, including being extremely fast across a broad volume
range and having excellent accuracy.
With this system's unique suite of liquid handling capabilities,
you will be able to run all your previous 96, 384 and 1536 assays
as well as new assays you never thought possible.
SPOTLIGHTS
If you work with cells and would like to dispense into or wash a plate without
disrupting the mono-layer, you'll now have the option to use our angled tips
for gentle dispenses/washes. When high speed dispensing is the better
choice, perpendicular tips are available.

Enhanced Options for Cell Work
Do you use SPA beads? If so, our system could save you thousands of dollars
in wasted SPA bead costs. Because YSi and YXo SPA beads will stick to the
dispenser’s tubing during the pause in between plate dispenses, a prime is
typically required between every plate to ensure even delivery of the beads.
Good news: we have invented a unique SPA dispenser that keeps the beads
re-circulating at all times, eliminating the need for expensive and time
consuming extra prime steps.
