After 2 month of dry season for
festivals devotes enthusiastically
start preparing for advent of
Lord Balrama and Lord Krsna.
The mahamahotsav started with
8th ceremony of temple opening
along with Lord Balrama appearance day on 21st September.
After ecstatic mangal aarti in
morning and evening abhishek
and kirtan pravachan filled the
devotee with great happiness.
Akhand Harinaam was started
on 27th September till midnight
of 28th September with the advent of Lord Krsna. Beautiful
Jhanki of Kalia Daman Krsna
changed the city of Udhampur
into Vridnavan when devotees
roared the city with Harinaam
Sankirtan for 5 hours. Peoples
from all religion and community
enthusiastically participated after
forgetting their recent memories
of clashes between religious
communities few days back.
People eagerly waited for their
lordships for their first darshan
on this auspicious day. Special
Sri Sri Gaur Radha Krishna
dresses for their lordships are
brought from Sridham Vrindavan.
Peoples start coming at 5PM and
long line upto 2km were properly
guided by security personals for
peaceful celebration of festival.
HG Sudarshan Prabhu filled the
atmosphere with divine vibration
with melodious songs. The city
DIG Mr. Garib das along with
family participated and danced
with gurukul boys on Harinaam.
The abhishek of Balgopal and
Laddo gopal were performed at
midnight. Kanhiya was warmly
welcomed by all peoples chanting the holy name of the Lord.
Sri Radhe Rani incarnated in
sound vibration to welcome the
lord.
Sweets and fruits were distributed for the pleasure of their lordships. Many gift stalls were installed for catering different
needs of peoples for spiritual
articles. That by followed by
Krsna prasad.
The event was well covered and
appreciated by Udhampur media
as compare to other celebration
in city. But we missed Srila
Gurudev on this occasion as he
were out for USA.

Today is Radhastami. On this
auspicious day Sri Krsna’s Pleasure potency (hladini shakti) appeared on this plant earth. Srila
Prabhupada used to tell without
the mercy of Srimati Radharani
we can not get the Krishna prem
which is ultimate goal of human
life.
Srimati Radharani is Lord Krishna’s Para Shakti which resides and
maintain the spiritual world. All
goddess of Laxmi are expansion
of Srimati Radharani. The position
of Srimati Radharani is very high.
She is queen of Sri Braj mandal.
Without Her mercy we can’t do
the devotional services.

Sri Radha’s Appearance on Earth
There are varying descriptions in scripture about the appearance of Srimati Radharani on the
earth. One reason for this is that the appearances took place in different kalaps.
Description 1:
Once king Vrsabhanu was immersed in the water of the Yamuna, meditating upon the lord.
Suddenly a one thousand petalled flower came floating towards him and touched his

Narada to Purnamasi Devi. Vindhya Parvata was envious of
great Himalaya having Parvati as
daughter and Lord Shiva as his
son-in-law. He performed great
austerities to please Lord Brahma to boon a daughter whose
husband can defeat Mahadeva in
battle. After pleasing and giving
the boon Lord Brahma realizes
his mistakes it is not possible to
defeat Mahadeva in battle. Suddenly he realized that Lord
Krsna’s pastime was going to
take place on earth and only he
can defeat Mahadeva.
Brahma thought, “Lord Krsna’s
eternal consort Srimati Radharani. If She agreed”. He underwent
severe austerities to please Sri-
body. When he opened his
eyes, he saw the most beautiful
molten gold colored girl lying
on the lotus and moving her
hands and legs. As the king had
no child he was very happy to
receive this girl. He brought
Her to his place and gave Her
to his wife Kirtida. Thus Srimati
Radharani appeared in the
earthly home of Her eternal
parents, Kirtida Sundari and
Maharaja Vrsabhanu.

son-in-law, Vrsabhanu”. From
that day She became known as
Radha, the daughter of King
Vrsabhanu.
At Krsna birth Yogmaya appears in Kamsa Jail and disclose about appreance of
Lord Krsna advent. Along
with it she disclose the birth
of Srimati Radharani and
Chandravali along with eight
sakhis. She confirmed whoever marries these two girls will
be Rajendra and will defeat
even Mahadeva in battle.

Why Srimati Radharani created Sri Navadvipa Dham
Navadvipa Mayapur Dham
The holy dhama descends with Sri
Krsna and his associates and paraphernalia. Sri Mayapur-dhama,
however, was Srimati radharani’s
own creation, to lure Krsna away
from another lover.
Once in Golok Vrindavan, Krsna
was enjoying with Viraja Gopi. Sri
Radhika heard this news from one
sakhi and hastily ran to find Krsna.
Seeing that Radha is coming, Krsna
suddenly disappeared and Viraja
become a river. When Sri Radhike
arrived there, she couldn’t find
them. Absorbed in thoughts of
Krsna, Sri Radhe began to think of
how to attract him away from
Viraja.
She gathered her sakhis together
Once Surya Deva (Bhanu) worshipped Lord Sri Hari with a desire to get Golokesvari as his
daughter. The Lord was pleased
and agreed to fulfill his desire.
There is a village Ravel in earthly
Gokul mahavana ruled by king
named as Mahabhanu. He has five
sons who all are great vaishnavs.
Among them Vrsabhanu was selected to take up the throne who
was non different than Surya Deva. He was married to Kirtida,
daughter of Bindu. Many years
passed still they have no child.
They tried their best to conceive
to a child by performing different
yajans, giving charity, performing
special pujas and archana, but still
they were not successful.

place, decorated with creepers
and trees and filled with male and
female bumblebees. Deer and
bucks were happily enjoying as
they wandered about, and the
whole area was filled with the
fragrance of jasmine, mallika and

groves. On Sri Radha order, the
Ganga and Yamuna, with their
pleasant water and banks, acted as
a moat to protect the garden.
Cupid himself, along with springtime, eternally resides there, and
the birds constantly sing the auspicious name of Krsna.
Sri Radhike, dressed in colorful
cloth, then began to play a beautiful melody on a flute in order to
attract Krsna. Attracted by the
melody, Krsna appeared in that
enchanting place. Radha, the attractor of Krsna’s mind, seeing
that Krsna had come, held his
hand and experienced ecstatic
delight. Then Krsna, understanding
Kirtida advised her husband to
worship Devi Katyani. He performed austerities by following
mauna vrata and abstaining from
food for lone time at foot of
Govardhana. One day he heard a
sound vibration in his mediation
for chanting the holy name by
accepting it from authority. He
went to Kratu Muni and accepted
Hare Krsna Mahamantra. Kratu
muni asked him to engage in
chanting holy name with full concentration.
After receiving this mahamantra
he offered obeisance's and came
back to the bank of river Yamuna
and chanted the mantra with devotion. After some time Devi
Katyani being pleased with Vrsa-
Radha’s mood, spoke in a voice
choked with love.
“O lovely-faced Radha, You are
my very life. There is no one more
dear to me than you. Therefore. I
will never leave you. Just for me
you have created this wonderful
place. Staying with you, I will
transform this place, filling it with
new sakhis and groves. The devotees will glorify this place as New
(nava) Vrindavana. As this palce is
like an island (dvipa), the wise will
call it Navadvipa. By my order, all
the holy places will resides here.
Because you have created this
place for my pleasure, I will live
here eternally, those people who
came here and worship is will
certainly attain our eternal service
in the mode of the sakhis. O dear
Radha, like Vrindavana, this place
us extremely pure. If anyone
comes here just once, he will obtain the results of going to all sacred places. He will quickly attain
devotional service, which satisfies
us.

Lord Krsna
enchants the world,
but Sri Radha
enchants even Him.
Therefore she is the
supreme goodness

“Simply by having your darsana, all
my desire are fulfilled. Still if you
are pleased to give me some boon

was radiant like thousand of suns.
The king returned home with
great jubilation. After some time
Srimati Radharani appeared on the
most auspicious day at the most
