your experiences in UGC Sponsored Two Days
National Conference on “Information and
Communication Technology in Education
(ICTE-2015)” on July 24th & 25th, 2015.
B.L.D.E. Association:
The inception of BLDE Association in 1910
dawned a golden era of revolution, reformation
and new awakening owing to the farsighted
vision and relentless efforts of eminent lover
of knowledge. Their philanthropic mission
was to propagate education and rebuild this
educationally and economically backward region.
The Association has a long glorious tradition of
academic excellence in all genres of education
and learning from Primary to PG & Research
Level- incorporating a number of professional
and technical courses. These institutions in their
vast expansion and dissemination of knowledge
stand testimony to excellence in education and
social service.
Our College: The JSS College of Education,
Vijayapur was started in 1980. It is permanently
affiliated to Rani Channamma University,
Belagavi and reaccredited with ‘B’ Grade by
NAAC. The college has permanent recognition
by NCTE, New Delhi. It has the honor to be
recognized by UGC under section 2(F) and 12(B),
and is covered under 100% grant-in-aid scheme
by Karnataka Government. The college offers
B.Ed. and M.Ed. courses and Research Centre
in Education affiliated to RCUB. The college
encourages holistic development of the students.
What to see in and around Vijayapur :
Vijayapur was the capital city of Adilshahi
dynasty and is the proud owner of the world
famous Golgumbaz (Whispering Tower), Ibrahim
Roza (Black Taj Mahal) and other monuments.
The dome of the Golgumbaz is the second largest
monument in the world and it stands without
pillars. The places worth visiting in and around
Vijayapur are Badami, Aihole, Pattadakal,
Kudalsangam and Alamatti Dam.

“Information and Communication
Technology in Education (ICTE-2015)”

1. ICT in Teacher Education (Pre and In-service)
2. ICT in School Education.
3. ICT in Higher Education
4. ICT in Faculty and Staff Development
5. Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Blogs,
WhatsApp etc.) in Education
Proposed theme and sub-themes which
addresses the theory, research and applications
as well as describe innovative practices are to be
encouraged.
Aim:
The conference is planned as a consultative
process and forum for discussion and collaboration
among the state and national participants involved
in ICT Education activities.
Objectives of the Conference are :
• To provide a platform for participants to
share knowledge and ideas, enabling them
to develop multinational, cross-cultural and
cross-institutional contacts and partnerships,
as well as to enhance their knowledge,
expertise, and abilities with regard to recent
advances in ICT in Education.
• To showcase the best practices of ICT in
Teacher Education.
• To establish a comprehensive picture of the
recent advances in ICT in Education.
• To identify gaps in current research related to
ICT Enabled Learning and Teaching.
• To give policy recommendations for future
directions in the light of the recent advances
in ICT.
Call for Papers:
Original papers (thematic or research based)
are invited from teachers of various disciplines,
teacher educators, research scholars, researchers,
academicians,
principals,
educational
administrators on any aspects of the conference
theme and sub-theme. The Paper abstract should
be approximately 200 words and full length paper
maximum 5000 words. The soft copy of the paper
should be sent to e-mail: bldeajssbedcb@gmail.
com / [email protected]. The abstract and
full paper should be on A4 size paper in Microsoft
Word Document, Times New Roman font size
12 & 1.5 lines spacing. In case there is a joint
paper, both authors have to register separately
and both have to make it convenient to attend the
conference and make a joint presentation. No TA/
DA will be paid to the participants.

Education.

DIET’s, TTI’s, CTE and IASE.

The registration fees should be paid through
DD in favour of Principal, BLDEA’s JSS
College of Education, Vijayapur Payable
at Vijayapur. The registration fee includes
conference kit with proceedings, tea, breakfast,
lunch, tea and snacks. Dinner and dormitory/
hostel type accommodation will be provided for
registered outstation participants only on first
come first serve basis.
The DD of Registration fees along with
the registration form & hard copy of the paper
should be submitted to the Principal, BLDEA’s
JSS College of Education, Ram Mandir Road,
Vijayapur (Bijapur)-586101 Karnataka on or
before July 5th, 2015.

By Train: Daily rail services from Hubli,

nearest junction is Solapur and it is 100 KM away
from Vijayapur.

The papers received in time WILL BE PUBLISHED
IN THE EDITED BOOK WITH ISBN NUMBER by
National/International Publishers.
