The Lake Bonavista Community Association would like to present you with the opportunity to
become more involved within the community of Lake Bonavista this year. Our Lake Bonavista
community has over 10,000 residents. Why not give your business the exposure it deserves
within this wonderful community?
WHO WE ARE, AND WHAT DO WE DO?
The Lake Bonavista Community Association, LBCA is a non-profit organization. The LBCA
operates a 65,000 sq foot recreation complex offering many special events and sports &
recreation programs throughout the year, for all age groups. The Lake Bonavista Community
Association hosts a number of complimentary events through the year to build a “sense of
community” among its residents. These events can attract as many as 2500 guests! Some of the
LBCA annual events include: Pre - Stampede Breakfast, Brunch with Santa, Movie in the
Park…. and many more……..
MISSION STATEMENT
The Lake Bonavista Community Association, as a volunteer organization, is dedicated to
enhancing the quality of life of the community by providing and facilitating programs and
services, and a voice and direction to meet the needs of our residents.

opportunity to offer residents of Lake Bonavista Community (your clients) great events.
Whether you sponsor a little, or a lot, collaborating with the Lake Bonavista Community

The pages that follow provide details for each event being hosted in 2015/2016, as well

Single Event Sponsorship:
Each event is uniquely designed, therefore; the price for single event sponsorship is dependent
on many factors (the event size, event popularity, the event requirements, needed supplies,
etc.). The option to sponsor an individual event is entirely yours, feel free to choose the event
which you feels best promotes your establishment! Many businesses choose to sponsor more
than one individual event to take advantage of this added exposure to promote your company
name.
Sponsorship Packages:
As a non-profit organization, the Lake Bonavista Community Association depends on support
from sponsorships to make our events the best they can be. Whether it’s assistance with
purchasing food, supplies for children’s crafts, prizes or even with the general costs of much
larger events, any amount of cash or product sponsorship are very much appreciated. I invite

FAMILY FUN SKATE
FEB 22, 2015
Bring your family out for some fun on the ice. We
will have Craft stations and Activities for the
children. Complimentary hot chocolate & cookies
for all participants. Event is FREE.
Expected Attendance: 100
Special Recognition: A special “thank you” tag
with your business logo will be attached to all the
Hot Chocolate cups.

COMMUNITY CLEAN UP
MAY 23, 2015
This Community Clean up event will make you
proud to live in the great community of Lake
Bonavista! The City of Calgary Waste sponsors a
unique community program by providing two
packer trucks to our cleanup. Bring unwanted
household goods and yard waste to the LBCA
parking lot to be crushed.

JUNE 6, 2015
Lake Bonavista invites you to participate in an
exciting Parade of Garage Sales! Register your private
garage sale with us and we will be happy to provide
maps to our visitors, so that they can come and check
out your goods!
